Did you see that they were on a different type of seat to John and Jo? Tom and Amy were on separate seats and so couldn't really drape all over each other and yet J&J were on a sofa and so were able to be all over each other much easier.

I didn't spot that!

I actually rewound it as thought I'd missed something but Tom and Amy were on 2 separate seats and J&J were on a sofa!

AJ is just so LOUD. She doesn't speak, she shouts. It would do my absolute nut in to be in a room with her yelling for more than 2 minutes so hats off (and ear plugs) to Kai.

Isn't AJ one of about 8 siblings? She probably grew up having to shout to be heard, and it's become her default setting.

Yes @JacquelineCarlyle - different chairs for Amy & Tom to J&J .. I doubt that was particularly planned but J&J are doing the Strictly classic of not putting each other down! I’m again in no way insinuating anything is going on, I don’t think so. They both seem like they are probably quite tactile people & there seems to be genuine love there which is nice. But you can see why celebs other halves get ruffled can’t you. If my husband was constantly touching & holding hands with another woman when not needed, I’d be pretty fussed. Fair enough when dancing & on Saturday. But on ITT, no.

I think Dan and Nadiya seem totally smitten with one another. They remind me of Kevin and Kristina from Dancing on Ice who got together. I really hope there’s nothing in it as he’s married with 3 young children.

I don't think Dan would. I love him to pieces in real life, he's a truly good fella, but blimeyheck he's crap on Strictly. It's like watching through your fingers when your first born is on stage and fluffs everything. He looks like he's going to cry, faint or vomit throughout. Possibly all at once.

Pretty sure in each show they have used a sofa and separate chairs. I think they do one interview where the contestants are on the sofa and then the next the chairs then back to the sofa.

I assumed they were maybe cleaning the chairs/sofa between interviews because of covid as in the past there has only ever been a sofa

That makes sense @mydogisthebest - it just confused me as it looked seamless so when it went from one couple to the next and yet the seats were different, I thought my eyes were playing tricks!

I'm going to have to go and look up Tom's wife. I'm not in UK and keep seeing references to her!

I don’t think Gorka and Katie like each other....no chemistry when they danced at all. She has an irritating voice...unfortunately. Katya and Adam I think are flirty ...time will tell...I’m not convinced J&J are getting on that well ...Johannes could be wearing I think .

Robert Webb has pulled out, which is a shame.
