Mr Carter was sitting a couple of rows in front of me at the carol concert this morning and both DH and I wanted to tell him how sorry we were about his leg (and of course his death).

actually it's probably more than that - I was thinking of it as the minimum amount you can live on but given that Miss Matty is middle class she would probably need nearer to £15-20 000 to sustain her lifestyle today, so maybe multiply by 200 instead of 100 and get £4 million.

Dp & I have just hooted with laughter at the thought of singersgirl leaning over to Mr Carter in church and earnestly saying how sorry she was about his leg (and death)!

I saw him in Waitrose last week scowling over the chocolate section, no doubt thinking of all the poor waifs and strays and only buying the Fairtrade ones.

Oh , the thought of getting to sit anywhere near the lovely Mr Glenister might be enough to get me into Church. His acting was superb and he simply oozed sex appeal. I must read the book and see if the character was meant to be like that!
