Blimey, no expense spared, then!

I was hoping they might redecorate that bloody awful teal kitchen, or perhaps Shelagh might go stark raving mad and blow the housekeeping on a new pair of glasses - by my reckoning she's had her current pair since 1958.

Okay - I've watched the last episode twice, and I give up.

The blessed Shelagh wants to do one last thing to show the sainted Timothy how much she loves him, but can't think of anything. Doctor Infallible shouts "I know" and gurns frantically at the camera.

But what was it?? Sending Mae and Angela to the Harvest Supper in fancy dress? (Honestly, has that woman nothing better to do in her spare time?)

Didn't age shorten his white coat - he said that was the fashion?

by my reckoning she's had her current pair since 1958. She's been a nun though, so that attitude of frugality would have stayed with her, I'm sure. Plus, in those days (legacy of the 'make do and mend' WW II generation), it wasn't a thing to change frames every time you needed a new prescription for your glasses.

When she was a nun. She sewed a button onto Dr T's white coat. The "something" she did for little Timmy Turner was to cut a (the?) button off his dad's coat and sew it onto his.

Ah I noticed she did something with a button but didn't see what happened to the button - it was a bit odd.

She didn’t sew it on the right place.

Dr T’s gub would have been better.

I watchedthe episode the other day where Sheila got her "new" glasses, she was still a nun then!

Also remember the spastic society in the 80s and a friend saying about a classmates sibling being Mongol and having a strip torn off her in the 90s

Just watching the first episode. Dr smug get charged with giving oxygen to the mum with 25 kids. In later episodes he'd be the entire flying squad.
