The people always do seem genuinely happy with their transformations but I always really dislike the hair and clothes styling!
Glad for them though that they do seem to get their confidence back which is what it’s all about.

I watched what I’d missed - that outfit the whole thing together with those boots made her look really cheap! Poor woman, it was totally impractical for her daily life too!
I wish they’d just offer tips to the regular person and help them put together a capsule wardrobe of practical outfits. The bloke looked quite insane in those braces!

The people that they ask "how old do you think X is?" are often scruffy themselves. They should coco!

I think it’d be interesting to ask people who are within 5 years of the participants age to guess how old they are. I bet they’d be far more accurate!

@TheChosenTwo When I was 20 I thought 35 was old, I passed that age a couple of years ago now and laugh about it!

That’s a fair point about the members of the public they’re asking to guess the ages of the people getting makeovers. I’m in my 60s and I’m usually pretty close to guessing their actual age. And now they’re not showing the part where they put the newly made over person back on the street to get a new age assessment off members of the public, we only have their word for the new estimation.
