Anyone watching?
The people always do seem genuinely happy with their transformations but I always really dislike the hair and clothes styling! Grin
Glad for them though that they do seem to get their confidence back which is what it’s all about.

Ooh I watched last week's and this week's and thought the same!
Lovely ladies featured, but I'm underwhelmed by the makeovers - the clothes are just awful!
I thought the short hairdo last night made the lady look hard, but she actually had a soft, attractive face. They always put them in sky high, cheap and painful looking shoes and my hallux rigidus toes just wince!

Yes - the shoes were awful. One lady's toes were poking out of hers, and the other one looked as though she was wearing wellies (with baggy trousers tucked in).

I spotted this was back and thought it would be like the old version, which I used to love. This time round it all seems very done on the cheap. I'm sure they used to get proper surgery and stuff like chemical peels, dental implants etc, which made a massive difference.

Just watched this. Thought the hair and clothes were terrible, they were both attractive women, so it was quite a skill to make them look so bad!

The stylist used to be on QVC as some sort of stylist or "brand ambassador". Think that tells you all you need to know.

I feel the same about the stylist but the hair bloke is the worst for me. Just awful and combined with the outfits they end up looking so dated!

The stylist is so bloody awful! I know I always go on about Trinny and I’m assuming they can’t afford her but the clothes they pick are so unflattering.

I need to go on this programme - but I’d have to tell the hairdresser “only a 1cm trim, please, and no wacky colours, thank you” and the stylist, “Just black outfits, if you don’t mind”. I would make for the most boring episode ever!

Grin I'd be the same - need a good overhaul but... Can't wear heels any more, not short hair, too chubby for skinny anything, definitely no strong makeup and don't touch my eyebrows! Wink

I enjoyed tonight's episode. I thought the hairstyles were much better than last week's and both ladies looked age appropriate and attractive. Still don't care for what the stylist puts them in though. I thought the brunette lady had a lovely figure but you don't want to be stuffed into a tight ruched dress!

This should be called 'Makeover' or something because no disrespect to any of the participants but they don't look any younger at all. They are attractive and it is interesting to see what a difference a good hair cut can make but 10 years younger in 10 days is not accurate in the slightest.

It is nice to see them so pleased with the results though.

I wish good dental work was available for everyone.

I agree actually Janiie. The 10 years younger is kind of misleading, because they get a bunch of rather brutal general public to guess the age, so that's way, way older than their real age.
So the 10 years younger refers to the brutal age guess, not their real age.
Usually they end up looking age appropriate-ish (*except that the hairstyles and clothes can be very hit and miss.)
