another dog,give me strength

ChampagneWorries · 15/03/2021 22:42

I do wonder how often they are bathed.

What about teeth brushing? 22 people needing their teeth brushed twice a day. That must take an hour in the morning in itself

MinnieJackson · 16/03/2021 01:36

I think they've had the dogs for a bit, they always have them getting pulled round the face by the little ones in the YouTube episodes. Poor Lola. She needs exercising!

ChessieFL · 16/03/2021 05:52

Did anyone else notice the narrator got their name wrong at one point? Just before an ad break they said ‘Coming up, Noel and Chloe go head to head in a Rashford pie off’. Definitely said Rashford not Radford.

macaronirabbit · 16/03/2021 07:21

Was that the last one of the series?
It wasnt really narrated to come to any sort of a conclusion, or suggest that was the last one?

jessstan2 · 16/03/2021 07:43

I didn't know about the Radfords before posting on here as a result of which I did watch one programme a few weeks ago.

It wasn't very interesting, to me at any rate, seeing how much food they buy, school uniforms etc, and I felt like a voyeur, but they all seemed very nice and happy and the children well cared for. Jolly hard work!

Same4Walls · 16/03/2021 07:52

Yes it was the last one. I thought the same it sort of just ended.
macaronirabbit · 16/03/2021 08:12

I did laugh when in one scene, Chloe said they needed more vegie or vegan ones and then her new recipe was....chicken!

TheFairyCaravan · 16/03/2021 08:42

The whole series was so staged. I can’t see another one being made, and I’m quite pleased about that tbh.

Sue going on strike and Noel getting the kids to do some housework was just done for content. It’s ridiculous that she’s still doing the washing for 4 people in their twenties and one teenage mother and her child.

I would love to know how they got 13 kids and 2 adults, plus all those bin bags, in to 2 seven seater cars, too.

I wasn't gping to bring it up again as they did similar on another episode but I am so glad it's not just me who noticed. The maths is impossible...

Anyone with v small kids know that kids "helping" to do stuff eg cleaning is more of a hindrance than a help. Grin
And I'm not super precious about germs but i was a bit Confused at 2 of the tiny ones cleaning the toilet!! My DS was obsessed with the toilet at around Archie's age but was easier to track down and keep an eye on (before he started the Andrex puppy trick with the toilet roll!) as I have less kids and a much smaller house

purpleme12 · 16/03/2021 09:42

It is a very staged programme

SquirtleSquad · 16/03/2021 09:43

Feel bad for the teenage boys having to share tiny rooms, surely after puberty you need privacy in your own room whilst you're getting used to changes in your body, it can be embarrassing when you first start getting hairy and also when they start exploring their body a bit..

That's just normal teenage development and they deserve to be able to deal with that with the opportunity to be completely alone and private. Bedrooms are real fortresses of comfort when you're a teen to shut yourself away and be alone!

RevolvingPivot · 16/03/2021 10:06

Usually they get paid by the tv company in holidays.

This time they are having the garden and house diy paid for.

TheFairyCaravan · 16/03/2021 10:11

And anyone who has got 6 teenagers and 4 adults in their twenties living with them and allows them to take advantage of them like Sue and Noel does need to get a grip. Why are they all lolling around on sofas and in their beds while Sue is running round like a blue arsed fly? No wonder Daniel couldn’t hack the RAF, he probably fainted at the thought of ironing his shirts and cleaning the toilets.

WheeshtTheNoo · 16/03/2021 10:14

I mentioned this before but the editing was really annoying. Last week was Millie giving birth, this week she was still pregnant. When Chloe was talking about the hot tub, one scene she has long nails then short then long. She says we need to cater for vegetarians then cooks a chicken pie Confused. Even the voice over gets their name wrong!

Another scene Sue is driving her Range Rover, then you see her pulling up in the Peugeot then getting out her Range Rover.

The staging of the housework too.....that wasn't helping that was just chaos. If it was me I'd have sent the a few of the older ones to the park with the wee ones and cracked on with the other older ones. But again in was all just staged for ch5 like every scene.

RevolvingPivot · 16/03/2021 10:27

It's strange how they have so many babies / toddlers that are in peaks yet have all those steps on the front. How does she get it up 2/3 times a day.

purpleme12 · 16/03/2021 10:30

Maybe there's a back door for that

RevolvingPivot · 16/03/2021 11:04

So why bother getting the pram up and down if they can go round the back?

purpleme12 · 16/03/2021 11:29

I don't know, I wasn't thinking
You'd think they'd have put a ramp up really

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2021 13:56

@WheeshtTheNoo

The episode tonight is the party one, surely they know by putting out this, they are going to be ripped to shreds considering we have been in a pandemic for a year Confused.
Guess depends

We were in lockdown then July pretty much went back to normal for Kent as we were in tier 1 so could see people tho May have been rule of 6 not including kids

Think it was nov we went to lockdown for a month then ended up in strict tier 3 and tbh been like that since Nov and now March

Course the older ones needs own space

All those screaming babies toddlers

I need to watch 15 kids and counting again

To see the now oldest as 7yrs younger or so

Knew not 10 teens 😂 but 6 and the older 4 need to help mum

Why is she doing their washing

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2021 14:06

So they decorate every 3yrs for the bedrooms

Maybe wear and tear is a lot with 21 kids

I wonder how Noel was ever approved a mortgage for their home if he only takes a minimal wage from the bakery and they have such huge outgoings.
