@CovidCrow they're massive velux windows in tiny loft bedrooms right next to bunk beds so perfect for very young little unsupervised children to get to.. I'll try and upload a screenshot. They're literally the exactly height to be opened from the bunk beds.

I'm sure they will have thought about it and got locks or something for them but lots of comments on the YouTube about them making people uneasy.
Oh my god! I see what you mean. Bloody hell that is not good, those bunk beds need moving 😳
When the kids were little I used to take the chairs off the balconies, when we went on holiday, for the same reason. What is wrong with them?

SquirtleSquad · 08/03/2021 09:54

The trouble is there are so many kids and in such a huge house it's just impossible for them to know exactly what's going on with the children young enough to need supervision with things like dangerous windows. They won't react to every potentially worrying noise of a window opening or someone falling because there will be so much noise, from so many kids in a huge house.

FatCat, Am not going to engage after this. Just to say, this is a public forum and people are entitled to post their views. If you don't like that, perhaps this isn't the right place for you.

Also, you are not an expert either, you are simply generalizing from your own experience.

CovidCrow · 08/03/2021 12:49

Sorry fatcat but I agree with them, all people with autism are different, you are only going by your own experience, there's no need to be rude to others who don't share your opinions.

(By the way lots of posters on mn have autism, don't assume you are the only one 😉 ).

Peace and love and all that stuff ✌️

WeeFae · 08/03/2021 15:40

Their house has 4 levels, and those new windows are right at the very top in the attic space, right next to bunk beds and low enough for kids to just lean out. The rooms are far too small to move the bunkbeds away.

Poor little Tillie!

What a shame for the pregnant 19 year old too. Following her mum's footsteps.

CovidCrow · 08/03/2021 21:31

Yes!!
Why did she leave her on her own to do her exercises? Poor thing. Give her some encouragement fgs.

mum2jakie · 08/03/2021 21:41

Nice baby shower for Millie though and kudos to her for looking absolutely beautiful at that stage in her pregnancy!

Where's the father, it feels almost cultish in the family
IHaveBrilloHair · 09/03/2021 00:13

Millie and Tillie, totally individual children, and that's without the rest of them.

toffee1000 · 09/03/2021 04:43

Sophie had her first child at 18 and the last was born in December 2015. She probably won’t have any more (three in total). They were all with the same bloke who she then married, though.
I wonder if those born to teen mothers are more likely to also have children as teens/at a young age.

SquirtleSquad · 09/03/2021 07:20

Ophelia's dad was her boyfriend for a few months, she said they didn't use contraception because she wasn't worried about sti's because she'd known him for ages and didn't think getting pregnant would be so easy.

Thick as mince

I also read that the guy had a girlfriend and it was a ONS so I guess we don't know.

Yes that's what I heard as well, it was a one night stand at a party while he had a girlfriend.

The Radford parents don't seem to care at all about safety! In the older episodes they locked the little kids (toddler ages) in their rooms over night so they didn't bother the parents. You always see the little kids climbing all over the work surfaces in the kitchen, in a recent vlog they show Heidi in a Bumbo seat (which aren't recommended anyway) on the kitchen island and they aren't even properly watching her! Tillie left alone in the hot tub. In the last episode there were loads of kids climbing all over each other in the hot tub.

It doesn't surprise me that they got those unsafe windows (apparently now they have purchased locks for them, after hAving them installed, not before, as they obviously didn't consider the dangers) they just don't seem to think or worry.

It's statistically far more likely.
SquirtleSquad · 09/03/2021 09:23

Did Noel really say if they hadn't had to buy so many brand new prams that they could have had a flash car on the driveway.. when they have a brand new Range Rover and 3008 sat outside their home!?

Warrickdaviesasplates · 09/03/2021 09:39

Why on earth are Noel, Sue and a load of little kids going pram shopping for Millie? Surely Millie should be there and one of the parents stay home with the kids?

Also from their social media we already know that Millie was gifted a very expensive pram (or maybe two?) during her pregnancy so why go to the pram shop at all?

I realise the scene would have been staged for the cameras, but I think it's so stupid of them to put everything on social media and then film contradictory scenes. Why do it? Probably to make it seem like they don't receive loads of freebies and they self fund everything with their bakery that must be rivalling Greggs with the amount of crap they seem to be able to afford.

MinnieJackson · 09/03/2021 09:43

Sue used to write a blog when they had about 15 kids and said they receive tax credits. Even without that they get hundreds a week in child benefit. If they're entitled to it, then fair enough! But don't always harp on about this magic pie shop paying for everything when you have a range rover and your teenage kids are wearing Montclair coats!
I also wouldn't eat a pie if you paid me. They moaned they had to close the business in the pandemic, when they didnt, bakery's are and were allowed to stay open. They didn't complain when they had to shut the shop a few years ago though because of the poor hygiene Confused

AaronPurr · 09/03/2021 09:54

I had no idea what a Montclair coat was so I googled. Do you mean Moncler? Because if so my eyes almost fell out my head at the prices. Shock

Whatwouldscullydo · 09/03/2021 10:00

Omg did they really make millie's baby all about them? Shock

Surely she needs to check in the shop, make sure she can fold it and the handles aren't to high/low, see if it will fit in the boot if she has a car? Pick what combo of accessories she wants/needs...

How selfish

My parents bought our pram ( years 14 years ago now) but they just gave us the money for it...

CovidCrow · 09/03/2021 10:02

They often wear designer clothes if you look close enough. I assume they are gifted but maybe not?

MinnieJackson · 09/03/2021 10:02

Yes, sorry autocorrect. Yep, those are the ones, I think they even did a YouTube video getting them. They borrowed laptops from the school though for home schooling as they couldn't afford to spend a couple of hundred on two more. The same video showed two of the kids getting gold engraved ipads that same day Confused

MinnieJackson · 09/03/2021 10:06

I doubt the designers they wear would gift these things, also they would have to declare them as gifted on Instagram and youtube. I think it's more independent companies that sell on etsy and Instagram that gift things to get exposure.

ChessieFL · 09/03/2021 10:08

I also thought it odd that Millie wasn’t involved in the pram shopping.

I also thought it a bit odd that anyone needed to go pram shopping - surely in that house they must already have enough prams she could use? Up to them obviously if they want new and can afford it, but it seems wasteful not to reuse things they must already have.
