I expect the autistic kids are internalising the chaos. I expect that inside they're churning masses of anxiety, stress and sensory overload. I expect this is the case as I was an autistic child growing up in a large family (although small compared to them as there were only 6 of us). It's a nightmare situation for an autistic child

I think your speaking for yourself? Every Autistic child is different. I suspect they are desensitised to the "chaos". Also, not all children with Autism exhibit high levels of anxiety and sensory needs.

Fantastic, an expert to educate me on what it feels like to be autistic. Thanks for that.

Chloe seems to do everything has always promoted the online pie business on her social media since they started it years ago. That girl needs a medal, she is a pivotal member of that family. Neither parent could do without her.

I mean I suppose if it wasn't for him then it wasn't for him, and that's obviously down to Daniel and It's not so much the RAF specifically that's disappointing, just that he was finally getting out and now he's right back in the thick of it. It's the university leaver all over again.

At least they promised not to give his room away..

I agree. So far other than their eldest it seems like the only way anyone has actually left the house is by having their own children and getting a council property. None of them have moved out to uni and stuck at it. None of them have got house shares with friends and none of them have left home and got a job and started living independently. It all feels very restrictive and claustrophobic like there's no way out.

They've said before they're happy for their children to grow up and move out but they don't want them renting because it's a waste of money, they want them to save up and buy a house.
I don't know exactly how the older kids are supposed to do that whilst they're expected to go to school or make pies whilst also trying to run the Radford crèche.

Oh no Sad Why can't any of them stick with anything? They are all just destined to sit at home looking after babies foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I don’t think they know how to exist outside of their enormous family. It must feel odd when they’re away from them, like they’ve forgotten something.

@CovidCrow they're massive velux windows in tiny loft bedrooms right next to bunk beds so perfect for very young little unsupervised children to get to.. I'll try and upload a screenshot. They're literally the exactly height to be opened from the bunk beds.

I'm sure they will have thought about it and got locks or something for them but lots of comments on the YouTube about them making people uneasy.

Secular simply pointed out that all autistic people are different, that not all experience high levels of anxiety. She's right. You can speak for yourself, don't speak for others.

My guess is that ANY child in this situation (21 siblings, almost always a new baby) would struggle with emotions, struggle to get noticed.

I thought when they filmed him saying his dad was his best mate ,in the car ,I thought then,oh god they will rip him to shreds in RAF

I often wonder how the children at school cope when new episodes are shown. It must be so difficult knowing everyone has seen inside your home, where you sleep, the choas, piles of washing etc. School is hard enough without exposing your child's home life to all of their peers. Sad
