Anyone watched this mini series what are yourr thoughts on Adele? What did you make on the twist at the end?

I assumed she had a slightly unplaceable accent because Eve Hewson is Irish and it showed through slightly. Either that, or because it was really Rob trying to sound English.

I enjoyed it and didn't mind the supernatural twist.

David's so called 'Scottish' accent on the other hand was hard to take. Rob's Glaswegian accent wasn't right either but at least he sounded a bit Scottish.

I've just finished watching and it's really disturbing! Poor Adam!! Wonder what they told the child actor to get him to act like that?!

She was such a lovely mum beforehand too.

I loved it, more so when I understood fully what was happening and rewatched some of the episodes.

It's lingered in my mind which is always a sign of a good story.

I enjoyed it up to the silly ending!

I also noticed the slightly Irish lilting tones (!)

It was the most ridiculous ending I've seen. The acting was great but completely thrown on to a disastrous train wreck of an ending. Its as bad as writing it like the whole story was just a dream.
Waste of time.

I remember reading a short story, but have been in Jackie magazine, about astral travelling where one wicked traveller steals the body of another traveller. I wonder if it's the same author or if the author read it about 35 years ago too and added the extra twist?
I remember that story. I also read Stranger With My Eyes’ and loved it.

I enjoyed it and finished it in two sittings.

I definitely didn't see the double twist coming, but there were clues throughout about Adele being Rob.
They used similar phrases, Adele being a heroine addict, why Adele had Rob's diary, Adele being a good cook.
How utterly sad for the real Adele and for her to be remembered by David as a psychopathic bitch rather than the sweet girl he has known all his life.

Poor Adam at the end as well. I wonder whether he is a traveller too? There is scope for series 2 I think. I'm going to have to look again for the pigeons and where they appear.

I know this is a zombie but I feel really weird having watched this. Louise and Adele 😥 and Adam 😥 jumped the shark soooo much but has left a bad taste in my mouth. Anyone agree?
