Anybody know when it starts? All I've found is this Radio Times article saying it will start before the end of March this year. www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/line-of-duty-season-six-release-date/ Kelly Macdonald is due to guest star.

I am new to Line of Duty and currently on episode 3 of series 3 so haven’t read this thread properly in case of spoilers but I love it. Lots of “omg” moments. Was disappointed at the ending of series 1 because everyone seemed to get away with it but I’m told things get tied up nicely as things move on.

I'm so jealous of you watching for the first time.

Am confused by the Radio Times comment on the Easter egg letter, but it might be my poor memory. Who is Chief Constable Osbourne and when did Steve ‘bring him to justice’? We just rewatched series 2-5 and no mention so have I forgotten him from series 1?

Answering my own question, I've googled, and he was the CT boss in series 1 who order the firearms gang to lie in court about the mistaken shooting. He chucks Steve off the team for refusing. He also (according to the Wiki I've used) was on 'friendly terms' with Hilton. Obviously he's shot to the top in the intervening years.

I'm hoping that Nasty Nige reappears, he's such a great character. He also had some of the best lines!

I'm wondering if there's any significance in the fact that the series they chose to televise just before the new one was Series 2. Could something in the original Lindsay Denton storyline be resurfacing?

This has reminded to refresh myself with a rewatch of series 5.

Just got a bit excited-read the thread title as 6th March & thought that I'd got 2 episodes to watch!!!

I’m currently rewatching 4 & 5 ahead of Sunday. Forgotten how great Thandie Newton was - and how gross her arm got!
