Anybody know when it starts? All I've found is this Radio Times article saying it will start before the end of March this year. www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/line-of-duty-season-six-release-date/ Kelly Macdonald is due to guest star.

Can't wait!

(Apologies if there's another thread, I couldn't find one.)

Can't wait for S6. What an absolute treat we've got instore.

I'm still missing Dot and Nige, but we've got Ryan Pilkington to look forward to at least. Smile

I miss Dot and Nige too.

absolutetelynotfabulous · 27/02/2021 19:22

The 21st March can’t come soon enough - be still my throbbing black heart 🖤

absolutetelynotfabulous · 27/02/2021 22:01

Don't know how I'll bear it. God Give Me Strength!

Wishing March away..

I walked past Ted getting some money out of a cash machine in London. I wanted to shout “Mother of God can I have a selfie?” so badly.

2,3 & 4 the best seasons for me. Always feel Mark Bonnar (Dryden) gets a bit overlooked when people are talking about the best character/bits. His interview on S2 is absolutely mesmerising!!

Amazing how they made you feel sorry for Dot towards the end

Ooh I can’t wait!

LutherRalph1 · 01/03/2021 07:41

In the mini trailer that's been released, it looks like Steve and Ted are facing off against Kate? 🤷🏼‍♀️

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 01/03/2021 07:42

Currently rewatching and last night was the amazing finale to S3. Fantastic episode. I barely remember s5!

SingToTheSky · 01/03/2021 07:59

I get really confused - I came to it late, so watched s4, then 1-3, then 5 when it came out.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 01/03/2021 08:11

Looking forward to this so much!

I agree.. I used to work for the police and I do feel that the characterisations and general feel are very realistic (we'll ignore all the points that are a lot bit far-fetched!) His is one of the best. His arrogance in particular is very familiar Grin

I've been rewatching on Iplayer and now up to S5.
What has struck me is that Kate can be quite annoying. In S4 when Steve and Kate bump into Steve's ex and Kate has a go at her for not standing by Steve when things were difficult for him. That would be the time when ex found out that Steve had slept (supposedly) with Lyndsey Denton would it beKate and ex dumped him for that reason?
And in S5, Steve has mentioned how tough it must be for the UCO who has gone awol and Kate keeps saying, "yeah right, tell me about it, I've been there." When the missing UCO is in deep with a ruthless, murderous gang; and Kate's undercover role was to attempt to be best mates with Lynsey Denton and Roz Huntley (and failed miserably on both occasions).

CriticalWoman · 01/03/2021 08:42

It's also struck me that one of the huge strengths of the series is how good the co-stars/guest actors are - Lennie James, Keeley Hawes, Mark Bonnar, Dot Cottan, the guy off This is England - they really shine, whereas the main three characters I find a liitle dull.

Lepetitpiggy · 01/03/2021 08:45

Re watched series 5 last week, but now feel I need to go back and do1 - 4. Luckily have a week off work !

CriticalWoman · 01/03/2021 08:49

Actually, now I feel mean calling them dull. They are the excellent quality sourdough bread in an artisan toastie, the other actors are the finest vintage cheddar, the tastiest pickle, and the organic ham that makes the sandwich sing.

CaravaggioLover · 01/03/2021 08:53

I agree Mark Bonnar was outstanding in series 2. The interview scenes are often the best!

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2021 09:25

Wishing March away..

Plus obv line of duty 😂

LadyEloise · 02/03/2021 19:06

There is such pent up excitement re the new series I hope we won't be underwhelmed.

superoz · 11/03/2021 00:38

Full trailer!

So excited!!

KaptainKaveman · 11/03/2021 10:02

Shiver me timbers it's exciting!!!

Aztectrousers · 11/03/2021 10:26

I am new to Line of Duty and currently on episode 3 of series 3 so haven’t read this thread properly in case of spoilers but I love it. Lots of “omg” moments. Was disappointed at the ending of series 1 because everyone seemed to get away with it but I’m told things get tied up nicely as things move on.

JaneJeffer · 11/03/2021 16:01

I need to rewatch S5. I can't remember a thing about it.
