Anyone watching.

Big , I'm not sure one was more terrifying, Earl or the main woman, when she was acting oh so innocent and helpless. Confused

TartanLassie · 05/01/2021 19:47

Hey thanks for the heads up for this programme.

Ah soddingwddings interesting insights. I wondered if 2nd husband had maybe hit the drugs whilst in prison, but actually it makes more sense that he was vulnerable when she met him. She seems to target the vulnerable ones.

And the first husband was only 19 and she was his second girlfriend, but he got out after what 7 years? Quicker than some here on Mnet.

Her poor kids.

The only thing is the adverts! Not used to adverts. What with this and Housewives of bloody Jersey, I've watched more adverts this last week than I did the whole of last year!!

SoddingWeddings · 05/01/2021 21:04

@ArsenicNLace I couldn't work out why there were three people either. I figured probably the solicitor (not uncommon for people to try to answer questions and their very frustrated solicitor reminding them they don't have to answer anything!), an AA (could be for literacy issues as opposed to anything more complex), and maybe someone shadowing one of them. Can't say I'd have been happy with three in the interview room plus suspect, plus two interviewers.

ArsenicNLace · 05/01/2021 21:10

@Soddingweddings Yes I thought maybe someone was shadowing but frankly it was a very small interview room and it was bordering on oppressive.

Yes I know solicitors will tell clients they don’t have to answer. I was just pointing to his potential vulnerability in that he kept answering but saying he wasn’t. Clearly not playing with a full deck.

Crazycatlady83 · 05/01/2021 21:11

@Whydidimarryhim
I can’t believe you got that diagnosis spot on (mentioned in the first couple of minutes of the programme!) I just thought she was doing it to deflect attention from the charge and run out the clock!

Toddlerteaplease · 05/01/2021 21:13

I thought the term 'Munchausens' wasn't used any more. It's Factitious illness.

OP posts:
Sidge · 05/01/2021 21:18

Fabricated or induced illness I think.

SoddingWeddings · 05/01/2021 21:20

@ArsenicNLace sorry, not trying to teach you to suck eggs, it was more for the benefit of people reading the thread who aren't as familiar with the processes.

Agree with the oppressive element, albeit if they are there for the benefit of the suspect, it may be less of an issue? I've never had any issues with oppressive interviews, as I know I was squeaky clean 😂

MrsGrindah · 05/01/2021 21:20

Blimey Russell’s girlfriend is the spitting image of her!

Toddlerteaplease · 05/01/2021 21:22

Interesting that all the men have someone in the interviews with them.

"She'll have polio by the end of the week" 🤣

Toddlerteaplease · 05/01/2021 21:31

She'd have totally claimed gluten poisoning, if she'd eaten that sandwich. Nice try.

OP posts:
Notsure2020 · 05/01/2021 21:31

I like how this custody Sargent isn't taking any of her simpering shite 😂😂

MrsA2017 · 05/01/2021 21:32

If you were coeliac you’d know that coffee has no gluten in surely?

SoddingWeddings · 05/01/2021 21:35

Custody skippers have usually seen it all before. Some of my favourite stories revolve around Custody Sgts not taking any bullshit! The Detention Officer bless her is still a bit naive.

Squiffany · 05/01/2021 21:36

@MrsA2017

If you were coeliac you’d know that coffee has no gluten in surely?
That’s what I thought too.
ParkheadParadise · 05/01/2021 21:38

She's a fucking joke.

MrsGrindah · 05/01/2021 21:39

The DSs face then was a picture when he said he was about to lose his shit!,

MrsGrindah · 05/01/2021 21:41

This is a one of the many reasons I couldn’t be a police officer as I’d be slapping her by now

ParkheadParadise · 05/01/2021 21:42

Omg
I would personally drag her from that wheelchair and dump her in the seat and bloody interview her.

MrsGrindah · 05/01/2021 21:47

I wonder why she didn’t just go no comment?

Toddlerteaplease · 05/01/2021 21:49

I don't know how on Earth the police have not lost their temper. They are being provoked in the extreme.

OP posts:
ParkheadParadise · 05/01/2021 21:49

She's very polite and well-spoken.

SoddingWeddings · 05/01/2021 21:51

@MrsGrindah she doesn't seem to have legal advice. Many suspects are arrogant enough to think they don't need it. Many think they can explain away their actions and get themselves out of the hole without having to do anything.

She'll have been offered free and independent legal advice repeatedly - on booking in to custody each time, at the start of every interview etc so she can't say she doesn't know what she's entitled to.

SoddingWeddings · 05/01/2021 21:52

Operation Bhuna 🤣
