Is anyone else looking forward to this? Once it finishes, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier starts, and then Louise after that. After 2020 being a Marvel-less year I am quite excited for a big dose of MCU escapism.

I like the fact that they've managed to keep it all a surprise. So unusual these days.

MCU are usually great at those moments. Like Cap picking up Mjölnir in Endgame. Our cinema cheered when that happened!

Just checked IMDB & he did do one film with Ian McKellan but I've not seen it, so not sure if he shared any/many scenes.
If we're adding in the X-Men films there are a fair few actors he's not worked with who are major characters.
But that's assuming it's a character we've already seen/met through a previous film.

Great thread! I've only just caught up with it as I only downloaded Disney+ on Friday. As a binge watch, I think the earlier episodes come over better, but I remember watching those 50s/60s style sitcoms as a kid, so I really enjoyed them.

All the cast are fantastic in this. I never really clicked with Wanda and Vision in the films, but Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany have knocked it out of the park. Kathryn Hahn is just excellent in everything she's in, and I'm glad they've expanded Darcy's character from the early Thor films as she was the best bit about the first one. Also loving the Monica Rambeau connection from Captain Marvel.

And I thought the 'recasting of Pietro' as Quiksilver from the X Men was just a stroke of genius. In fact, everything about this series has just been amazing.

I’m still holding out for Bendydick Cucumber because I really dont want a crossover with X men. Confusing crossovers are why I lost my DC love.

I dont think be someone from the Xmen universe only because can see this leading into the Marvel sequel films.. unless lots of surprise appearances to come. Still wonder about Doctor Strange.. maybe someone from Fantastic Four if rebooting that.. again!
Looking forward to see who but not ready for the end! Poor Wanda..be nice if she gets some sort of happy ending.

I am am also thinking Dr strange or maybe Tilda Swintons character she can do the whirly swooshy time thing as well!

I think I don't know enough about all of everything outside the movies to fully understand a lot of what us going on.

I loved the Agatha theme tune, but I don't know what it means now she is in WandaVision and I gave up on X-men around the first prequel as I got confused!

That's a shame about the trailer. I thought it was legit. I'd love to have seen Dr Strange in Wandavision

The only decent XMen film recently was Logan.

A lot of people are down on the later Xmen films but I don’t know, I enjoy Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix, I think they’re well worth a try. Logan was totally different - very good, but totally different. Has anyone seen New Mutants?

Just watching YouTube videos on WV ep 7 (you can lose HOURS to this stuff!) and one of the Easter eggs pointed out is that when the twins’ game controllers regress through various older consoles and end up as Uno cards; that this harks back to young Monica playing Uno with Talos’ child in CM.

I’m calling that Major Goodner = Talos’ daughter and (turns out) lifelong buddy of Monica since they were children. Or at least that’s my personal canon until proven otherwise

Logan is amazing. I've seen The New Mutants. Its... okay. Quite derivative, and some genuinely terrible accents, but reasonably good fun.

Goodner as YoungSkrull is my head canon too
