Max did at least say he would come back from NZ to collect her. Where he was collecting her from was unclear - the ever expanding cupboard I assume.

I’m absolutely besotted with Raymond. He is the cutest little boy ever. I hope they never put him in the kiddie cupboard. Also Phil was really sweet with him. I think Denise is being unfair not letting him see him.

I can see why Denise would want to keep Raymond away from Phil - he's not a great person really. He was good with Raymond last night but you wouldn't want him being any kind of parental role model.

Poor Denise. She slept with Phil when she was really ill with alcoholism, then was pregnant with an unwanted baby at almost 50, to a man who really is just horrible, she was so traumatised she kept it’s secret until she couldn’t then made the very hard decision to give her baby away, now 3 years later when she is in a happy relationship it all comes barrelling back into her life and she is forced to make a decision again about being a mum to this child, and brining Philth back into her life, and of course now he is, and she doesn’t even know! It’s awful.

I agree Raymond is cute, but the almost exact same story was done 20 years ago. Sonia gave up Chloe/Rebecca, only for the adoptive parents die tragically within a few years and Rebecca was returned to Sonia and Martin. Theres a warning there.....dont adopt a child if you live in Walford. Chances are you won't live to see them starting school.

Tbf spanish I live in a tiny village and it’s a really ‘local’ pub so I guess that maybe makes a difference. The landlord and landlady are good friends of everyone in the village so any non ‘yocals’ would be swiftly stopped by Bob, Bert or Graham who prop up the bar most evenings.

My FIL lives above a pub, he doesn't own it, run it, or work there. There is a separate door to it.
