Every time Mo makes an appearance I am reminded what a deeply unpleasant person she is.

I think we're supposed to view her as some kind of cheeky cockney Del Boy type, but she's just an arsehole IMO.

Jean, on the other hand, has really grown on me. She acts Mo off the screen.

Basically because it's all done with dramatic license. No one is having a "substantial meal" in the pub either. I don't have a problem with the inaccuracies in that respect TBH.
