My FIL lives above a pub, he doesn't own it, run it, or work there. There is a separate door to it.

Shirley and Grays relationship is very odd.

Because they are filming them separately they are all looking in the wrong direction.

How the hell is Gray going to get round the fact that Tina hasn't contacted Shurl? Why have neither Shurl nor Mick tried to call her themselves and found her phone going straight to voicemail?

It felt very unnatural. Like they're trying to squeeze in a covid storyline.

And yeah, there are already a lot of loose ends.

Right so very obviously Sonia is upset because a patient has died of covid. Why they have to make it a mystery is beyond me. Do they know they are allowed to do straight up stories with no guessing? We can cope with a normal thing being portrayed. Super Sonia struggling with long hours and patient deaths- that’s a story in itself - just do it instead of adding all this intrigue.

@Gwenhwyfar no it's not noisy, I suppose it's a very different pub in that there's an outside deck/terrace at the top of a set of steps up to his apartment. It's not a 'boozer' pub in the city like the Queen Vic, it's a pub/restaurant in a village and reasonably rural.
The only smells you get are the cooking smells, but that's only inside the pub or outside in the car park, not in FIL's place upstairs. He doesn't actually drink 🤣

I've had a google and it's her second....I thought she'd had more than that.

The pregnancy was pretty soon after having her daughter, so she was already pregnant when she returned from mat leave.

I don;t either, personally - but it's jarring when the person is clearly pregnant yet the character clearly isn't

lol It can be equally jarring when they try to hide it too, to be fair. A character always carrying a briefcase starts to become v obvious hehehe

In my defence, I think it is because she was heavily pregnant before and was only briefly seen slim before becoming heavily pregnant again.

I'm only tuning in again, after a long absence from Eastenders.

The story of Sharon, presumably, slowly poisoning Ian is more than a bit far fetched.
Yes, they are definitely not bothered about concealing Stacey / Lacey's pregnancy. They usually have someone carry around a large bag, often for no apparent reason.
The social distancing makes some things strange. There's times when it would, ordinarily, be appropriate for people to hug, but they just have to stand looking helpless. Although Mick and Linda did hug, or was that done by some trickery with camera work!

I did smile though when Jack asked Max did he want to hug it out.

They've kept Kellie Bright's bump hidden well. I think stacey has put on weight/bigger bump it would be harder to hide it.
