I can't really remember old Chelsea. She was always immaculately turned out. Had a drug issue that was referenced last night. Not particularly happy but I forget the rest.

I can't recall old Chelsea but I thought new head did look a bit like Dee , so that was a good casting.
Lucas plays the psycho really well and I like Phil doing his scary eye balling stuff.
His getting a bit old to be the hard man , but he is carrying it off when he needs to.
I have a soft spot for Phil ..

Oh yes! The other episode when Linda and Max kissed, you saw Linda from behind and cut to the back of a mangey looking wig!! I was wondering if they'd drafted in Jake Wood's wife for the snog. Or if it was an extras real life couple like they did for Chantelle and Keerat?!

I thought new Chelsea looked like them both too! Very good casting. I don’t like change but I think I will like this Chelsea. Old Chelsea was very sharp and rude, I wonder if they’ll rewrite her character.

Also, when I was a teenager, and I think this is fairly common, there was a group of us that used to hang out and hold parties etc. Everybody went out with everybody or "got off" with everybody. But we pretty much stopped doing that by our 20s. Not so on Albert Square.

Which leads me onto, surely, someone like Ruby in rl would not be marrying someone like Martin? You'd have thought she'd go for someone with a bit more similar set up to her. Unless Stacy is exactly correct that she wanted to have what was hers? And maybe she likes showing him how she can splash the cash unlike Stacy ever would be able. Of course, the back story stuff from lockdown was that Ruby and Martin were most in bed over the summer. Sex in a relationship can take you a long way!

I thinks that’s exactly what it is. And now she only wants a baby because she wants that special hold over Martin that Stacey has.

It was a bit sad her saying about not having any family. But not sure that's a very good solution.

I think it will be Phil who had Lucas beaten up to protect Raymond. Lucas was a total manipulator so could easily have sucked Chelsea in (old head Chelsea was a bit fick)
Jay and Honey are both still up for it 🤮 and Billy should butt out. Wish Sharon would poison Ian a bit faster!

I think it is because Billy still adores Honey, and always has, and he 'settled' with Karen, because there was no hope for him and Honey. And he isn't very bright at the best of times, is he?

Agree that Karen was probably a 'second best' for Billy. Still, he was responsible for the split with Honey due to his adultery. How long is it they've been apart now? At least two or three years surely? You would have thought he would have got the 'no going back' message by now (but too thick to do so)?

Jay is one of the only decent guys in Eastenders. Honey deserves some real happiness.
