Can someone tell me why Lucas has been released from prison for killing TWO people? Life is about 25 years right, it’s only been about 10 years.

Why does Ben hate Ian so much? It wasn’t till I saw Ben making Ian beg to be part of the robbery I was thinking why is he being so nasty to Ian! Watching the old eastenders on iplayer, Ian takes care of Ben and looks after him. What’s happened?

Ben currently hates Ian because he tipped off the police about the car heist.

I think that was the last in a list of grievances though. Ian ripping off Kathy and generally being a twat probably contributed.

I did! I thought I was seeing things there; with him sat in that grim office it all went a bit ' A Christmas Carol' for a second. I don't think Jay means it though. They will be together by new year I bet! :) Billy will self combust.

Why on earth is billy being such a dickhead.. and why the fuck doesn't Honey remind him that they're divorced, and her and Jay allowed him to move in out of pity? it isnt 'his and Honeys' home. He needs to wind his neck in.

Why is Chelsea even having anything to do with Lucas? The man murdered 4 people, including her half brothers mother, her mums ex husband, and kidnapped/trapped her mom. IF anyone did that to my family i'd want nothing to do with him.. and who the fuck lets a 4 time murderer and kidnapper/abuser out after 9 years?

Why is Linda carrying on with Max after a couple of months of the man she adores clearly being ill/struggling with something, when he just spent the best part of a year putting up with her alcoholism?

I'm really despairing at EE right now, its just all clutching at straws and stupid storylines.

The problem with Max and Linda is that they "grew close" over lockdown which, of course, we didn't see.

Yes lockdown seemed to change lots of story trajectories in a clunky way. For example wasn't Keegan and Tiff's relationship severely stained before the break?

I didn't mind seeing two Jays as his nice.
Two Lucas's or Grays would have been awful. Murderers , both of them!
I agree the story lines are flaky lately.
Frozen detectives , Max and Linda ( no way would she do this to mick in real life)
New head Chelsea forgiving her murderous dad. Not a mention of the children most of the time.
I stuck with it as it can be so good sometimes and I like the idea of Sharon going rouge, but a few other stories are a bit flimsy and don't hang together.
Might be the SD rules though.
