Denise has a car but I've only ever heard her talking about the tube. You never hear her talking about picking up Patrick from the airport. He always gets a taxi.

And a thing that always strikes me is when anyone is in a car, they drive into the square and theirs is the ONLY car in the square. Mick's car sticks out as its a big car. Then they park outside their house but the car is never seen again when people are going in or out of the Vic or when Denise and Sonja are leaving their houses, the street outside is always empty. Where are all their cars?
The only car that is ever around is the hearse.

Its only right I guess that Sharon is back in the Vic. I never liked the Carters running the Vic. I hope Mick does go and Tina with him to be honest. Tina made some huge allegations to Grey this evening. She isn't the brightest spark yet she solved the entire mystery of Chantelle's death. Unbelieveable.

Sharon is very good looking ( I know that's controversial as others won't think so but she has lovely eyes and legs ) and it was nice to see her in a top that wasn't black last night. Her and Ian have been in it since the start. Such a legacy. It's sad it's ended up like this. Better that someone else had done this to her beloved Denny really!

I agree. I’m not sure they properly thought through the Ian/Denny stuff when they wrote that. Or maybe they did and they wanted Sharon and Ian, the only original two, pitted against each other with only one victor? It’s sad. Their relationship can never recover even if Ian isn’t killed. (Which I don’t think he should be) so they’ve ruined a 35 year legacy for a very small boost in viewing figures.

Absolutely this, I think it’s awful they have done this to the characters, they had such a strong bond and history which the writers have now destroyed, for what end? Part of Eastenders charm was their friendship and their links to Eastenders of old, it was an important relationship and now that can never recover, I feel quite sad about that.

I agree with this too.

The writers screwed up this storyline. They could have had anyone else lock Denny in the room. E.g. even Keanu who was leaving anyway. Sharon and Ian had an unspoken loyalty with each other and throughout the ongoing Phil v Ian feud, it remained. Now the friendship has gone and Sharon and Kathy are back at loggerheads but this time over Ian instead of Phil.
Maybe Sharon will get the pub back and Ian will sign it over as an apology. Who knows though, this is EE - people have short memories.

I don't think Lucas was going to kill Ruby, he was going to try to sleep with her? I guess thats to show us he isn't quite the reformed character he says he is. Then because EE can't do subtle, they showed us him clenching his fists. The pastor in the church is going to get involved to urge Denise to demonstrate forgiveness to Raymond or something I suppose.
