Ok. I think he’s Scottish. Over 60. Balding but hair a sandy/ginger/blond sort of colour. Slim, sharp features (I think)
Similar age but not either Bill Paterson or Denis Lawson. I picture him as weary and maybe as an older uniformed police officer. 😩😩😩 Any ideas?

Still very invested in this thread. What about Ian Richardson, has he been mentioned yet? He has the advantage of being Scottish.

also I am thinking of the actor in Deathly Hallows 2 I think...when they have gone into the Ministry and when the potion wears off and they are becoming Harry, Ron and Hermione again. There is a Scottish actor who tries to blast them to kingdom come but can't think of his name

Begging you. Just finished a twelve hour shift and exhausted. I asked everyone in theatre for suggestions. Ticked them all off, all been mentioned on here. Please don’t spoil my first Christmas off in ages. I want to watch The Red Shoes and I will be thinking about sandy haired, balding men.
