Please help me name this actor. Driving me bonkers.

Ok. I think he’s Scottish. Over 60. Balding but hair a sandy/ginger/blond sort of colour. Slim, sharp features (I think)
Similar age but not either Bill Paterson or Denis Lawson. I picture him as weary and maybe as an older uniformed police officer. 😩😩😩 Any ideas?

Nope, neither Brian Cox nor James Cosmo. These guys are far too rugged. This actor is more like a straight, non camp, Scottish, balding ginger version of Kenneth Williams! 😂😩🙈

Dave Anderson? He played the bank manager on City lights many years ago. For some reason it was on BBC Scotland this evening.

Not Scottish but don't think Anton Lessor has been mentioned. Maybe fits the bill for Endeavour and the Agatha Christie stuff.

My sister saw Danny Webb in a pub (was with a well known actress) and sent me his photo. Spent the next 2 hours looking for his name.

Most of the ones I thought of have been mentioned. Only other I can think of is Ewan Stewart? I think his hair was darker though.
