Starts tomorrow night on Sky Atlantic with a “fresh” faced Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. It looks good and I love glamorous New York 😃

I found it hard to believe that HG publicly admitted on national television that he has was still in love with Elena. Especially given that NK and DS had paid the 2 million bail and were paying for his shit hot lawyer!

I thought he was saying he loved Nicole.

Been watching and feeling very confused, normally can work out the killer quite early on. A few things I have questioned, when nk got the text message that Elena had died, I found it very odd that she wasn't distracted at all, I know she had clients in, but even so if you had received a text like that, it would stop you in your tracks....

Donald sutherland, why is he always at the art gallery? Is it his? He showed his true colours with the head.
Surely there wouldn't be a tv interview when a trial hasnt started, the jury are not meant to follow the case prior to being chosen, so it would impact the trial, I'm surprised they were allowed to do it.
Hg face when he was on camera, he had to think about his expression that he was showing.

HG face expression and the massive effort he made to appear tearful was not good. I find that he only has 2-3 expressions most of the time with blinky eyes.

NK seemed partic upset that HG had had a daughter with Elena. Not a baby or a child, but a daughter. So maybe they had been trying for a little girl and been unsuccessful, maybe they had lost a child? Maybe the girl in the credits is their lost daughter or daughter thy never had
I think this is somehow important but can't work out why! Was Elena a surrogate gone wrong? Was she used to carry HG's baby then got rid of?

HG had already booked the conference, could have been a weekend away with Blondie? He hesitated a long while when SHL asked him if he was unfaithful before, so has he been unfaithful on different occasions?
Blondie has several times urged NK to get her own legal representation, does she know that NK is going to get framed for the murder?

Loving the theories and looking forward to tomorrow

I think it was obvious that Elena should have been new to NK anyway. She spoke of her as a new acquaintance very convincingly. But the idea that she is DS illegitimate daughter would explain his behaviour, higher obsession with HG and NK and the painting. The fact that he is in the gallery all the time might be showing an artistic appreciation, maybe even unrealised talent, that was realised in Elena.

I think both HG and NK did it and they are now working together to make it impossible for the police to prove which one did it !

I also like the surrogacy idea and then some blackmail that went wrong ?

DS is suspicious of both (maybe something in the past with NK ?)

Watch the opening credits closely. While Grace (the child) is running around there is a small boy’s reflection upside down at the top of the screen.
That must be a big clue to the story.

Just watched end of ep 5 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐!!!!!

The ending of episode 5 gave me goose bumps! Or Chicken skin as a German friend used to call it!

Just watched episode 5, finale next week, can’t wait now. It reminds me a bit of Defending Jacob which is on Apple TV, the way it is filmed and the court scenes.

Can’t discuss yet can we until aired at 9pm.
