Just a reminder that this fab programme is back

That people who spend £100’s a week amazingly reduce their shopping bill 😂😂

Assuming new series. Hope it is

Greg and Chris help a mum And her two boys Ditch the micro meals

What fabulous meals will they cook

What will they swap

And will they have the usual - I don’t like that - and it’s their usual brand 😂😂😂😂

have to agree, that pasta was nasty.

bearlyactive · 15/09/2020 20:27

Agreed, the sauce looked like pesto gone wrong.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/09/2020 20:27

Slightly behind due to phone call

So the OJ was theirs but didn’t like it 😂😂😂😂

They really seem to be pushing the vegetarian sausages this series.

Why would they replace pork sausages with the veggie version, if the family aren’t vegetarian?

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/09/2020 20:31

Least a child eats green veg

And their shopping did have veg and fruit

Tho the pasta dish .......

I missed the start and don't understand the set up here. The write up says two single mums, I get that they're friends, but only one of them has kids? Is it friends who live together (family and lodger type set up?) or is the friend like an informal nanny with her own house and family somewhere?

jay55 · 15/09/2020 20:33

I was wondering what the issue was, when they said only eats green veg. Better than only corn or carrots.

Yes on the veggie sausage push, not generally money saving unless buying fancy sausage.

lazymum99 · 15/09/2020 20:34

Who on earth bothers to make your own gnocchi.

jay55 · 15/09/2020 20:34

veggiesausageroll one mum is pretty much childminder for the kids and the other buys the shopping and feeds her kids takeaways all weekend, often ordering one meal from multiple takeaways.

Heptember · 15/09/2020 20:36

@VeggieSausageRoll the mum with the copper hair has one child, but they haven't shown as much of him as the other three

HyaluronicHippo · 15/09/2020 20:38

I couldn’t believe that she was ordering three different takeaways in one night. The delivery fees must be silly!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/09/2020 20:39

Mum of 3kids works and can’t cook

So friend has her 3 kids and cooks with her one child

God, I wish I had the money to order three different takeaways every weekend...

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/09/2020 20:40

Yes why swap a sausage for veggie ones

HyaluronicHippo · 15/09/2020 20:41

They did a bit on last weeks episode about sausages didn’t they, I think they were saying three pork sausages has the equivalent saturated fats to kfc chicken and chips, so it’s probably trying to be from a health angle.

VeggieSausageRoll · 15/09/2020 20:42

Thanks, makes more sense now!

They are cute kids but do they all have the same name?

bearlyactive · 15/09/2020 20:46

Well, when she called them just now I did have to pause for a minute to discern the names. But they are different - Klynn (kay-lin), K-Leum (kay-lum) and Jaylen (jay-lin). I think?

balzamico · 15/09/2020 20:47

Goat??? 🐐

IKEA888 · 15/09/2020 20:47

Ha ha yea the names sound confusing.
Can't believe that grated cauli and veg thing had all t a day in it and csnt believe it would be nice

VeggieSausageRoll · 15/09/2020 20:50

I watched last week's and was a bit disappointed that the Beeb didn't pack them all off on a holiday

jay55 · 15/09/2020 20:51

The way mum keeps talking to the camera is getting quite annoying.
I am disappointed that the kids didn't reject all the meals, they seemed quite happy other than the pasta.

bearlyactive · 15/09/2020 20:51

Where is child no. 4 in all this?!

theneverendinglaundry · 15/09/2020 20:53

Anyone know what lunch box they showed when they were taking about packed lunches? Is it the sistema lunch cube?

I am on a mission for the perfect lunch box!

Wolfcub · 15/09/2020 20:54

£1k a year on takeaway eeeeewek

Janaih · 15/09/2020 20:54

Ohh they are friends. I thought they were a couple! Also missed the beginning. Gregg winds me right up but I like watching him
