We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Oh how ridiculous or desperate maybe. The Hobbs sound as if they are going to go abroad illegally to find a baby to adopt.

Oh no, someone is telling Kate and Mark how to cut the red tape, but at least he admits they are in trouble as a result. They could end up in court.

I wonder if this potential new squeeze might be an officer?? Only guessing there must be a twist.

There again, if she has accepted a date, she probably isn't an officer.

Can't get over how much Mark Hobbs looks like Molly's depot corporal.

Kate now confesses she may be unable to conceive - seems they never talked about it before getting married.

Oh - it looks as if they might go ahead and adopt illegally from Poland.

Oh, this is not looking like a good idea. Kate must be desperate.

Steve and Shelley go on a date. She seems a bit too confident to be just a "boots on the ground" sort of woman - flash car too.

Kate hasn't stopped to work out the consequences of an illegal adoption.

Steve's date is a bit of a fast woman in lots of ways! I'm guessing she's hiding a lot from him, possibly a husband???

Wow, Shelley is a fast worker, that's for sure.

Wouldn’t it be so much easier if Debs told the truth.

Joe is having girlfriend trouble - no sign of Collette, she has gone away somewhere.

Mark is having second thoughts, I'd make that third and fourth if I were you.

Joe Farrell is quite downcast. The delightful Colette has legged it across to the Caribbean. Beats Aldershot I'm sure.

Kate has borrowed the money from her parents but now Mark is having second thoughts. Of course, neither of them know that she is pregnant anyway.

Jeremy drops into conversation with Steve that the Flt Sgt who has been training them is talking to his wife.... who happens to be Shelley! Oh dear.

Guessed that one right then. Doesn't look like she and her husband are very happy.

Poor Steve - he always picks the wrong women.

Remind me what the blue beret signifies? I thought it was worn by the United Nations but there must be other reasons.

Not sure about blue berets apart from UN. Will need to google.

Collette's not coming back anytime soon. She's extended her contract by six months.
