Our Girl Thread 57 "Our Girl Revisited"

We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Poor Throbber has really been fed a line about that lovely dog. He might come across as tough and devil me care, but he has a soft spot for dogs!

Grace would indeed be delighted if she brought him home. One up on Dr Dull and possibly more stable than Elvis (RIP).

Yep, Grace loves a medic almost as much as CJ does....

First it was stolen candy and now it's a dog in the barracks. Throbber is pretty thick really.

Oh no...they have hidden Flash in a shed. Yes, Cheese has a point about the dog being smarter than Throbber.

Prof does have some great lines. He has a very dry sense of humour.

Bless Georgie for giving Mimi some encouragement.

Prof must be embarrassed by his mates sometimes.

Georgie can't keep out of it. She has to listen in to the operation.

I think I prefer the character Prof plays to Brains really.

Georgie isn't doing much to help her own mental state, listening in like that. It's bound to make her think of Elvis.

Yes ilove - Brains was a sweet lad, but Prof is an intellectual equal for Georgie.

I get so fed up of that duty of care phrase bandied around.

My wifi went a bit Pete tong and I've come only fir the first thing I see is Elvis falling off that building. Yuk

"Duty of Care" and a bit lippy telling the Colour Sergeant what to do. Yep, she is following in Georgie's footsteps.

I think I prefer the way they actually do follow orders in Soldier, Soldier.

I think he may have eejit and in a way I hope he did really.

Maybe Cheese's previous platoon were pleased to get rid of him.

Emotional scenes for Georgie as she unburdens herself to the psychologist and finally says how she feels about losing Elvis.
