We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

It's the Colonel's wife doing the intro for the WAGS. Ah here's poor Jeremy. Wonder how he is feeling now?

The woman in the jumper who is smoking does not look a very likeable character.

We find out she's called Jackie Reece and is in the military police.

Meanwhile, back at the pub Joe says he's not heard from Colette.

Jeremy has been promoted. Another Captain who is in charge of a platoon.

Back at the wives club, it looks like one of them is a bit disillusioned. Debs is still lying about being pregnant. The disillusioned wife is another SIB officer - shades of Nancy!

The car sounds a bit ropey. Debs has sold it to Jackie. The quarters look pretty decent.

The Colonel seems a bit of an airhead - glosses over things quite easily.

Whoops Debs and her boyfriend (Briggsy?) are arguing. Gosh, Deb hasn't told Kate about the pregnancy test mix up. Blimey it wouldn't happen now.

Is Jackie's husband Robert Glennister (or Gene Hunt in another guise) ?

More yomping across the moors near Catterick. Lovely, what more could anyone want?

Debs is a very shallow and self-centred woman.

Mad Woman Jackie is ranting and raving at Debs over the car. If there's so much wrong with it, I am surprised it passed its MOT, or did Briggsy not even bother with an MOT?

Ah, Philip Glenister was Gene Hunt and Robert Glenister was in Hustle and it's Robert who was in Soldier, Soldier apparently. Maybe it was in an earlier series?

Jackie is obviously suffering a great deal and on a very short fuse. I'm guessing she has a form of PTSD from her tragic experience.

Walking across a metal bridge with no support would not be my idea of fun!

Remember when Elvis did some nifty "beam work" in the old barn or whatever when he was trying to find out where Georgie had been held captive?

Ah, Robert Glenister was in one of the earliest series possibly the first one as Ian Anderson along with Tucker and Garvey.

Those houses look far too nice for married quarters. Debs is receiving silent phone calls and someone has been in her house. Now she will be feeling freaked out.

Debs is the target of somebody's extreme wrath! I think you are right about the PTSD. I'm surprised that even going back 20 years, Jackie wouldn't have had counselling with an army doctor for such a traumatic experience as discovering her friend had committed suicide,

Meanwhile, the CO's wife goes to talk to Jackie Reece. She is really struggling and needs counselling.

Jackie (we assume) has poured petrol through Debs' letterbox and set it alight. No wonder Debs has freaked out, who wouldn't?

Briggsy wants to go back home but Jeremy refuses him leave.

OMG - someone has poured petrol through the front door. That is dreadful. Wonder who it really is. I don't think it's Jackie.

Mark Hobbs tells Briggsy that they are looking to adopt, probably from abroad. Briggsy is clearly embarrassed that Mark thinks he and Debs are having a baby of their own.
