millie99 · 02/10/2007 21:52

Why can't you take a phone call while feeding? I thought it would be the perfect way to avoid eye contact a la CV

lomondgal · 02/10/2007 21:52

www.thebabyguru.co.uk/

Mossy · 02/10/2007 21:53

Allgonepossum, "you're so vulnerable as a new mum" too right I remember my mil telling me that ds just "needed a dummy" when he was screaming his head off for milk me leaking everywhere I believed her at first but then thought "sod you I will feed him constantly" and gradually, gradually, he got happier.

Idreamofchocolate · 02/10/2007 21:53

ooo smug bitch

MsHighwater · 02/10/2007 21:53

So it's all about being able to get out for a night out, apparently.

yogimum · 02/10/2007 21:53

Mossy · 02/10/2007 21:54

lomondgal · 02/10/2007 21:54

SleepIsForTheWeak · 02/10/2007 21:54

having champagne while her twins are screaming their hearts out
I feel SICK

tcmummy · 02/10/2007 21:54

those poor poor twins crying alone

oooggs · 02/10/2007 21:54

BITCH - LEAVE THOSE TWINS TO CRY, stupid parents going out, can't believe how this is affecting me

MsHighwater · 02/10/2007 21:54

Brainwashed idiot - putting baby first is BAD???

controlfreaky2 · 02/10/2007 21:54

that photo on the website is soooooooo airbrushed / manipulated / whatever that it is in fact of someone else....

themothership · 02/10/2007 21:55

Why the f**k is she laughing at those poor little twins screaming their hearts out?

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 21:55

Call me judgemental, but I didn't want to go out for dinner 2 weeks after my baby was born.

I loved them. It didn't occur to me that sitting in a restaurant apart from them, was going to be a better use of my time.

MamaMaiasaura · 02/10/2007 21:55

Also those mums who are following her approach should have some more backbone imo. I would never ever let a witch like that tell me not to cuddle my baby

Mossy · 02/10/2007 21:55

I wouldn't normally go with letting a dog lick a baby's face... but to be fair it's probably the nearest thing to affection in that house

AitchTwoOh · 02/10/2007 21:55

i think it's so upsetting the way that CV mum talks about her child as 'a madam' etc.

Elizabetth · 02/10/2007 21:55

Who the fuck are these idiots talking about a little baby "being a madam"?

This programme seems to be really trying to push the Truby King method.

AllGonePossum · 02/10/2007 21:55

how can a weeny teeny baby "be a madam"
????????

gordieracer · 02/10/2007 21:55

This is really too much for me
my boobs are leaking and i stopped feeding my 2 year old teo months ago
FFS, leaving a baby whose poorly
and "stick her on ebay"
i know it was a joke but he makes me sick, some people would do anything for a little baby to cuddle all night

kizzie · 02/10/2007 21:56

apart from the fact that that woman is a heartless bitch who clearly doesnt like children !!!! - on a practical level - if youve already got other children or you dont live in a detached house with no neighbours surely you're just going to be making everyone else lives misery too by just leaving a baby screaming through the night.
