Can't wait to see if CV is wearing joggers...

@LittleBella, completely agree. Felt like I wasn't complete without dd...

And look at that gorgeous little baby in his sling, what a lucky little boy

AitchTwoOh · 02/10/2007 21:57

i have a solid crush on the curly-haired continuum mum...

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 21:57

Can I call Social Services?

If these people were single mothers on council estates ignoring their kids, there's soon be state intervention.

Disgusting.

And I don't care if anyone tells me I'm judgemental. There are some things we should be judgemental about and cruelty to babies is one of them

tcmummy · 02/10/2007 21:57

Surely it's NEGLECT to leave those twins sobbing like that?? And according to our Child protection policy that's child abuse.

NoBiggy · 02/10/2007 21:57

CV comes across as rude and intellectually "lite" when the 3 gurus are together.

lomondgal · 02/10/2007 21:57

the novelty has never worn off for me!

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 21:57

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

oooggs · 02/10/2007 21:57

newborns babies can't read!!!!!!!! so how do they know what they are 'supposed' to be going?????

MamaMaiasaura · 02/10/2007 21:57

I am liking the 1970's approach actually. Would love to know what sling they are using. When this one arrives I am going ot try it. With ds I always picked him up when cried, fed on demand etc.. had a very happy content baby.

MsHighwater · 02/10/2007 21:58

And that's where I depart from Dreena Hamilton. I got my boobs out in public (to bf) and never felt like I was inflicting it on anyone.

I've been subjected to a lot worse sights than my boobs feeding my dd!

themothership · 02/10/2007 21:58

It does feel tantamount to abuse.

PeckaRolloverAgain · 02/10/2007 21:58

I feel REALLY depressed now, to cheer me up can anyone tell me where to buy a lovely sling like that for when my baby girl arrives at christmas

Mossy · 02/10/2007 21:59

Right I am off to bed to snuggle my little ds lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots...

Idreamofchocolate · 02/10/2007 21:59

Awen - I have that sling - it's called a Tricot Slen and you can tie the baby onto you in lots of different positions. Got it from Babyhut.

SpawnChorus · 02/10/2007 21:59

DS (13 months) has just woken up. He has a cold. I am SO looking forward to giving him a big cuddle...

lomondgal · 02/10/2007 21:59

I love the sling too, what age do they do up to?

themothership · 02/10/2007 21:59

Those ring slings are great, I had about 4 plus some wrap slings. Go to the babywearer site...

MsHighwater · 02/10/2007 21:59

I'm also really wishing I'd done the sling thing.

oooggs · 02/10/2007 21:59

I like the sling concept but it isn't practical with twins, but then neither is leaving them to cry

MamaMaiasaura · 02/10/2007 21:59

SNAP pecka

kizzie · 02/10/2007 21:59

and that thing about the foxes - how does she KNOW that something wouldnt get into the pram and hurt them?

Ive got the twins by the way - and was a complete wreck when they were babies- but even then I wouldnt have let anyone do that to them. I remember sobbing because the man next door creosoted his fence the day i brought them home i was convinced the fumes would hurt them.

yogimum · 02/10/2007 22:00

pecka I borrowed mine for free from the nct breastfeeding support group I went too.

sheepgomeep · 02/10/2007 22:00

I had lots of blissful times ff all my 3 coleyboy.

In fact I found it sheer hell bf ds.By the end of the 3rd week I was in bits.

I soo hate the idea that a ff baby cannot bond as well as bf one.

I've got inverted nipples amongst other problems.

I've got quite upset watching this this week especially at the bit about CV not letting the grandparents pick up or go near the twins.

My dad died 4 months ago 3 weeks after dd2 was born. I am so glad he got to hold her and gaze into her eyes before he died.

CV needs to be put down.. fast

www.thebabywearer.com I think.

I carried dd in a sling up until she was 18 months and still use one now occassionally if she's feeling poorly, and she's nearly 2.5 yrs
