Oh, Bobby, all the best for tomorrow... try not to imagine the worst x

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 23:22

Right I want to send CV the Miles ad.

Wonder what the NSPCC say about her methods?

It's outrageous that she should be allowed in prime time TV.

Outrageous

Piffle · 02/10/2007 23:22

I have been and will continue to be brave, will post tomorrow with results, hopefully they will be fine and I can give you good news (not that I know u!) I am just so scared, offloading here cos I am able to. I just feel that cos my mum is not here I have no one to talk to, can't burden my dad, cos I can't cause him anymore pain,

hunkermunker · 02/10/2007 23:24

Talk away, Bobby. Have you started a thread for support?

thanks so much I AM SO SCARED

Piffle · 02/10/2007 23:26

and the speling on CV's front page is shite

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 23:26

I've just searched the NSPCC site they haven't made any comment about htis.

Considering their usual willingness to comment on parenting, I would have thought they'd have considered this sort of thing totally within their remit.

bobby - the good thing about us, is that you have no obligation to us - if you want to talk, you can, and if you dont, no-one is going to pester you or make you feel guilty for not doing. but there will always be someone here to listen. so like hunker says, talk away. start a support thread. you may take comfort from it.

WinnieThePooh · 02/10/2007 23:31

Good luck for tomorrow Bobby.

i am sure you will be fine.

You will get loads of support from this site whatever the result.

KashaSarrasin · 02/10/2007 23:31

Normally mild-mannered DH is plotting to collect contents of DS's nappy and go round to CVs to throw it at her...

Still can't believe Ch4 is giving that woman air time. At least it's becoming increasingly clear that she's a totally insane old witch who shouldn't be allowed near children, even to those who aren't "raving lunatic" (WTF?!) parents like me.

NappiesLaGore · 02/10/2007 23:32

i agree that the nspcc should be making public statements denouncing the techniques this woman is promoting.

My 5 mammograms seemed fine, then they phoned me up and said there was a density they were worried about, I have complained about breast pain for a year with nothing done by doctors, there was no lump, I have really nodular breasts, so hard to tell about lumps, I got the all clear, then a phone call, then a request for biopsy, then this biopsy, now, who knows? I just can't imagine going throught the same thing my mum went through, I saw her basically have chemo radiotherapy, chemo. till she couldn't do it any more, I have a 3 year old! life can't be that cruel

KashaSarrasin · 02/10/2007 23:33

(((Bobby))) Good luck for tomorrow, I hope everything turns out fine for you.

NappiesLaGore · 02/10/2007 23:33
