New 4 part thriller mon to Thur

When is suddenly disappears she tracked him down at his family home
Where she finds out Michaels wife Roisin disappeared in a house fire

Looks good and like the fact it’s on every night :)

I loved it plot holes and all! Would have preferred it in the depths of winter as it was that kind of drama. I really like 'Blood' on channel 5 a few years ago starring Adrian Dunbar. Also set in Ireland.

The mother in law was very Mrs Danvers !!

Bluesheep8 · 10/08/2020 11:40

I read somewhere that it was intentionally based on Rebecca. Although I reached the conclusion that it was a load of auld shite by the final episode.

stumbledin · 10/08/2020 15:00

goteam - there was a blood 2 earlier this year - not a patch on the first one so if they did a Deceived 2 just how awful might that be!

Helpimfalling · 10/08/2020 23:19

I really thought it was going to have some ghostly twist to it.

Because apparently there were a lot of deaths in the house etc

I don't know if I was disappointed with the last episode but I do know i was really excited for it and felt a little let down by the end just felt it was all so drawn out and to just be wrapped up that quick in one episode.

I'm not sure where they can go with it next.

But one things for sure I think I'm over my crush on mr scanlan as after holyoaks days I was obsessed with him ❤️

Papergirl1968 · 11/08/2020 00:00

@salcombebabe, I think it's being repeated on one of Channel 5's other channels this week.
It was ok but a bit too dark and gloomy for me. I struggled to understand the mumbling, especially Michael, and wanted to slap Ophelia. I didn't think her acting was great.

Papergirl1968 · 11/08/2020 00:11

ah, it's just on My5 apparently, which is their catch up service.

Very late to the party over 2 years late as this series has just appeared on Virgin tv in Ireland.
I just knew @Blondeshavemorefun would have a thread.

Ooh this brings back memories. Where's Paul Mescal got to? I thought he went off to be a film star, all I know is he's going out with Phoebe Bridgers.

LadyEloise1 · 20/09/2022 18:49

@Blondeshavemorefun
I have no idea why Virgin media won't show series at the same time they are being shown in the UK.
We used to have a channel called UTV ( Ulster television ) part of ITV so we saw all the ITV programmes but they took it away from the package when Virgin Media took over from the previous provider. Sad

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/09/2022 18:59

Sky has that channel @LadyEloise1
