Episode updates (no story spoiler):

CORONATION Street will air a special one-hour episode before increasing to six editions a week.
The ITV soap will have an hour-long special at 7.30pm on Friday September 11. The following week it should then be back to six episodes per week.

Let's hope the storylines improve as the episodes increase!

It looks like Scott is the hook handed psycho... What did he and Johnny boy do? Offed someone is my guess.

There have been glimpses of it, when he beat up the two druggies blackmailing Carla and some of the asides he said.
Perhaps he and Johnny-boy have a murderous history together or perhaps a bank job? It's obviously something worrying Johnny!

As for the rest of the episode, I zoned out with Debbie/Abbie and Daniel/whatsername. Although we were reminded of Rays ownership of the Bistro!

The scene in the bistro was badly written and dreadfully acted. Daniel's new "girlfriend " was ridiculously over-the-top, and her shouting and face-pulling was cringey. The only bit worth watching tonight was the short scene with Geoff hoovering.

Bit off topic, as the storyline are so dire, I was admiring the back room of the pub. I really like the decor!

I really like it as well, love the wallpaper and plantation shutters, not so keen on the enormous display cabinet. I think Sally and Tim’s house looks so welcoming and cosy and Yasmeen’s orangery is lovely though rarely seen.

Wasn’t it just? I was cringing! I only watch it for the Yasmeen/Geoff storyline.

I think Corrie is definitely mucking my head up! I know they have to distance and filming is different but it just all seems so odd.

That bar.. in the bistro.. has it always looked like that? I thought we were in some club or something, it just didn't look like the bistro.

Can anyone tell me where Daniel is getting all his money from?? Does he work?

I presume they are setting up a load of story lines ready for any hour long episodes but it just seems so so fragmented to me. People just keep popping up randomly.

Wasn’t it awful!! Her cross shouty face was so OTT all the grimacing and huffing. The guy in the suit wasn’t much better either.
