Couldn't see a new thread so started this one. So we're now into a show of two halves, edited together - pre and post lockdown! Who's shouting "before" "after" at each scene?

Now, I like Craig, but he has that hanging-open mouth like Gemma after everything he says and it's making him difficult to watch for me. Also, he's a really shit police officer, sharing confidential information with his friends 🙄

I'm not interested in any stories at the moment. Gemma and Paul's birthday - don't care. Todd - don't care. Abby and her return to addiction - I'm sorry but I just don't care.

I bet the actor who plays Sean is loving lockdown; he's never featured so much in the programme as he's doing now. The storyline is really bad, though. I can't even remember why Todd left so suddenly. What did he do? I know they had to write him out of it quickly because of his rl offences, but I can't recall the storyline.

Could Kevin not find a decent girlfriend for a change poor sod ! He was stuck with misery guts Anna and I was pleased when he got together with Abi but that's obviously all about to go wrong !! Also what happened to the Ray storyline where she trashed his car and Kevin lied for her ? Another storyline that seems to have been swept under the carpet.

Althea it was something to do with Summer - I think her nan was trying to get custody so Todd decided he and Billy should go on the lam with her? Of course Billy wouldn’t go but Todd went anyway but then somehow Summer came back?

I think the actor was convicted of sexual assault so they just had him shouting from a car.

Agree about Paul's OTT reaction to the party food 😂. He seems like a really sweet person, not the ex con scumbag that he was when he first arrived on the cobbles, threatening Gemma. No doubt if Todd returns (presumably with a new head) he'll try to split up Billy and Paul

I think billy and Paul are an unrealistic couple, I’ve always thought it but don’t know why. They just don’t seem to fit together

Caught up on the last two eps today. Who else thought the way Billy was standing under the stairway, whilst on look out, looked as though he was having a pee up the wall? 😂

So in comes Gemma and her mother.Been out shopping, no sign of the quads or who was looking after them while they were out.
Then Paul arrives.He suggests the three of them go out to celebrate his and Gemma's birthdays.Gemma says ''No I have got to look after the quads'' So off goes Paul and Bernie.
Still no sight nor sound of four babies.Or Joseph and Chesney either.

Just caught Up, the only bit of genuine acting was the doctor at the hospital! Maybe it was their first time filming and all went to pot.

Peter's with Carla, and they were 'babysitting' the Rovers while Jenny and Johnny were in France. Not sure why they're still there.
Steve and Tracey bought Ken's house when he moved to live with Claudia, but Ken came back to live there.

It's all become a bloody mess, do the writers actually watch it or do they just contribute their bit and hope we are thick enough not to notice

At least in Corrie time they should open pubs and cafes soon so one more step to back to normal and improvement of plots.

The announcement at the start of each episode should say, 'Some scenes were filmed prior to coronavirus restrictions, some scenes were filmed during strict rescrictions, some after they'd lifted a bit, and then a few really weird scenes after they'd got a bit stricter again for some of the actors living in certain areas [sigh], and some scenes were quite frankly written under the influence of valium, brandy and the odd class A.'

You've forgotten the scenes that were written by the scriptwriters' kids as a 'home schooling exercise'.

Maybe it was the scriptwriters' kids who put the quads in the loft. So boooooooorrring
