Couldn't see a new thread so started this one. So we're now into a show of two halves, edited together - pre and post lockdown! Who's shouting "before" "after" at each scene?

They seem to have forgotten Billy can’t be going into work and if anything he be at home working on his zoom sermons for Sunday. Where is he supposed to be going in his shirt and collar everyday?

I want to imagine that it'll shortly be revealed that Holy Billy sits in a cold, dark vestry all day, playing out the lyrics of Eleanor Rigby in his head.

But it's probably just more scriptwriter laziness.

The announcement at the start of each episode should say, 'Some scenes were filmed prior to coronavirus restrictions, some scenes were filmed during strict rescrictions, some after they'd lifted a bit, and then a few really weird scenes after they'd got a bit stricter again for some of the actors living in certain areas [sigh], and some scenes were quite frankly written under the influence of valium, brandy and the odd class A.'

Jesus, what in the name of fuck was that episode? I've had more enjoyable half hours waiting at a freezing cold train station with the rain pissing down, because I least I know the journey is going somewhere.

The last few episodes I really haven’t enjoyed, I’ve missed half and whereas normally I watch on catch up, I’m not even bothering! I catch up reading this thread and by the sounds of it I’m not missing much If anything at all! 😂

Kev's sister was in it as a young teen and was played by the same actress. She was also one of the many Corrie people in dinnerladies. When you mentioned Johnny Briggs I got confused for a minute, thinking of Mike Baldwin. Just finished Silent Witness. Tim was a bent cop who planted evidence, but he was still a better policeman than Craig.

Oh yes, Kevin's sister who bought Jack's leg was the dinnerladies toast woman.

It was dire, why is peter walking into the house when no one is supposed have visitors. Ditto rented Cardi lady- bets she’s walking covid disaster!
