Couldn't see a new thread so started this one. So we're now into a show of two halves, edited together - pre and post lockdown! Who's shouting "before" "after" at each scene?

I had also forgotten that Gary had killed Rick because he was threatening Sarah(I think Harry and Bethany too) and he had really hurt Gary too. I disliked him before that anyway as he was always lying and cheating etc

Since the anniversary party was going to be on Zoom anyway, why couldn't Aggie have participated from her isolation in the hotel? Not ideal, but at least it might have stopped her husband moaning on and on and on.

I assumed that he was prepping the van with the intention of moving the body. I was relieved when Sarah shut the door, i was waiting for him to bundle her in and drive off.

I burst out laughing with when Sarah opened the van door. It was so slapstick. Was thinking the same as pp she was involved in a hidden body escapade herself!

Perhaps Gary could fall in love with her and take her and Jake to live near Anna.

I used to, but she's become a caricature. I was cringing for her, when she was singing in Italian out the window. Even the actress herself had the good grace to look embarrassed!

At what point does an actor decide that they're happy to stay on and look a fool, or actually look for proper acting work?

With the theatre industry likely to have been permanently damaged and precious little sign of new dramas being commissioned, I think any actor choosing to leave a soap or Casualty, Holby etc. at the moment would be crazy. It’s not even like it was a few years ago when the likes of The Bill, Heartbeat, The Royal, Waterloo Road etc. ran all year or for months on end - even the bit part work is gone.

Mary was always a caricature. I like her though.

Can't stand Mary, she is a totally unfunny pathetic joke. The actress must look at her scripts and think "Oh, no....." Although she could try dropping that silly voice.

Didn't Mary and Norris get married so that they could win a competition?

Yes they did get married and didn't Norris come back to ask her for a divorce?

I don't remember about the divorce,but it must have happened as he then got married to Freda. I miss him; there seems to be such an emphasis on the younger characters, who aren't very interesting.

I love Mary - would love them to give her decent storylines that also incorporates her humour as she's such a warm hearted character.

Doesn't anyone in Corrie have a mobile? Why piss about going to ask Dr Badass to call for an ambulance when you could call 999 from your mobile.

The social distancing is really irritating me now. I know they have to do it but it looks ridiculous when Adam is miles away from his wife after she’s just been almost killed. He would be hugging her!
