Couldn't see a new thread so started this one. So we're now into a show of two halves, edited together - pre and post lockdown! Who's shouting "before" "after" at each scene?

OP posts:
Honeyroar · 29/07/2020 21:35

Oh no. That didn’t hit him half as hard as I’d hoped! (I’d read a spoiler). Not a speck of blood on the windscreen. Still, I expect he’ll be in a coma in the Corrie suite at Wethersfield general for a while. Will Sarah pine secretly by his bed or will she remember she’s got hunky Adam at home and give her head a wobble (and wobble Maria’s while she’s at it!)

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 29/07/2020 21:48

Surely that car wasn't going fast enough to do much damage Confused

PoloNeckKnickers · 29/07/2020 21:59

It wasn't that long ago that both Liz and Craig were mown down on the cobbles and they quickly made miraculous recoveries Hmm

zigzagbetty · 29/07/2020 22:02

He will be fine, where theres no sense theres no damage Grin Sarah needs to stay strong and end this long tedious story line

zigzagbetty · 29/07/2020 22:03

and why is there still a muddy shovel in the van, especially with the watch turning up! He is the world's worst criminal!

Honeyroar · 29/07/2020 22:10

The back of the van was hysterical! 🤣🤣 Not locked. Everything leaned up on the sides. Was anyone else expecting him to shove Sarah in the van?

Roussette · 29/07/2020 22:35

He couldn't shove anyone anywhere with covid!

Smallsteps88 · 29/07/2020 22:43

I got that horrible icky feeling that sarah was falling for the tiny gangsta again. I really hope she isn’t.

MrsSteveMcDonald · 29/07/2020 22:45

I know that people think I've got dodgy taste, but Gary??!!

Honeyroar · 29/07/2020 22:52

But she was ringing the police, wasn’t she?

Kinneddar · 29/07/2020 22:58

I hope they're not going to labour the point of Aggie being a nurse. When she started going on about the patients she'd seen and the number of ambulances I fast forwarded

While I get they have to address the covid situation I'm not watching a soap to hear that quite honestly. Weve been living through it I just don't want to watch that at this stage. Theyve missed the boat with that angle

Smallsteps88 · 29/07/2020 23:10

@Honeyroar

But she was ringing the police, wasn’t she?
Yes, thank goodness. Hopefully she holds onto that fear and keeps running from him.
BakedCam · 29/07/2020 23:31

Aggie and her husband are the worst actors in that show.

Their accents are terrible.

ZaraCarmichaelshighheels · 30/07/2020 00:03

As much as I’m no Gary fan I forgot the reason he killed Rick was because of him threatening Sarah! so he’s not really Phealan junior, I also think Sarah has conveniently forgotten that she helped David and Kylie bury Calum’s body in the garage extension and let Jason’s dad carry the blame for it which caused mental distress to Jason hence him leaving the street, Todd found out the truth and kept her secret as well, yet she couldn’t phone the police quick enough to dob Gary in (who I think may know she aided and abetted hiding a body? Can’t remember!) now she’s playing holier than though, the brass neck of her!

PoloNeckKnickers · 30/07/2020 06:01

I actually felt a bit sorry for Gary at one point Confused but then remembered that he'd kippered the factory roof.

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 30/07/2020 07:07

Gary should of hit her over the head with a spade and chucked her in the van. Nice trip out to the woods for her..

Roussette · 30/07/2020 07:41

If the body's buried in the woods, why does he need a spade anyway? Is he digging it up and putting it somewhere else?

zigzagbetty · 30/07/2020 07:53

He probably dug it up and hidden it in one of his second hand wardrobes Grin

Roussette · 30/07/2020 08:13

Hahaha my thoughts too!

ajandjjmum · 30/07/2020 08:14

That fight with Rick was instigated by Rick who was planning to kill Gary anyway (I think I remember!). Could never understand why he just didn't go to the police, as it was self defence surely?

Still really dislike the Gary character though!

NCTDN · 30/07/2020 09:14

I also felt a tinge of sympathy for Gary - I remember that he did it to protect Sarah. Was the body in the van?

StillCoughingandLaughing · 30/07/2020 09:15

So how did Aliyah know that Tim's mum is called Philippa and not Tessa?

She didn’t. She knew Geoff’s first wife was called Philippa. We already knew Geoff had been married before Tessa.

desperatehousewife21 · 30/07/2020 09:50

On that Aggie self isolating storyline, do u think they’ll run a story where someone catches Covid? Or is that too much.

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 30/07/2020 09:57

I thought a few weeks ago that the Corrie makers said Covid wasn't going to be a big thing? They're making it a big thing..

Optimist1 · 30/07/2020 10:13

Since the anniversary party was going to be on Zoom anyway, why couldn't Aggie have participated from her isolation in the hotel? Not ideal, but at least it might have stopped her husband moaning on and on and on.
