I missed quite a bit. It is getting very formulaic, people who no one knows and can’t cook (and aren’t amusing about their crap cooking) Bring back Little Jimmy!

I haven't watched any of this series 'live'. The upside of recording and watching back is that I can fast forward through all the crap - such as 'celebs' who I don't know and, of course, the gurning greengrocer, who is reaching ever new heights of fuckwittery this series

I love Judy Murray. It would be great if she was good enough to last the week but I'm not holding out much hope! I have a feeling her cooking is as good as her dancing

Good to see Phil Vickery last week. He has always been one of my favourites

Amar was fantastic aswell. I also saw him on the Pilgrimage programme, he just comes across as a really lovely guy.

Gah. Wrote it all out on my phone, posted and it disappeared. Dunno why my phone won't post with pics.

Anyway. The 8 course tasting menu turned into a champagne reception, amuse bouche, 10 course tasting menu and Irish coffee and fudge.

So first up was Wild Elderflower Champagne.

Then a Mackerel Ceviche amuse. I forgot to get pics of them.

Next up in pic one was (from left to right, top to bottom):

Curried Wicklow Lamb Shank Croquettes

Wicklow Bay Lobster and Crab, Croutons

Home made Ricotta, Organic Courgettes, Tomatoes, Basil and Olive

Black Angus Beef Tartare, Potter's Farm Egg, Queens Potato

Next up (top to bottom)

Beetroot Consommé, Orange and Apricot (sorry didn't snap the pic til half way thru!)

Line Caught Mackerel, Cucumber, Dill

Raspberry Gin and Tonic Sorbet

Next we had Wicklow Lamb, Pea, Mint, Jus which came with some sort of Herby Potatoes

Pudding wise there was

Wild Woodruff Panna Cotta with Mint Jelly

And

Wicklow Strawberry and Basil Frangipane

Finally to finish there was

Teelings Irish Coffee and home made Teelings Fudge

It was amazing. So much food and when the lamb came we were like 'eh, I thought this was a tasting menu'. The lamb on its own would have been a normal main course portion.
