Have their ever been a couple from these shows that have stayed married?

I went off the twins when they called Cheryl the princess from shrek.

Nadia is beautiful but the simpers and flattered way she responded when Anthony said “she’s mine now” made me feel nauseous.

I don’t like watching loved up Susan and her partner - vomit-worthy and can’t last.

This show now has the Real Housewives vibe to me, let's stage a dinner and make them jump at each other's throats for "entertainment". A cheap trick and it's putting me off.

I would like to have seen Andrew stand up for Cheryl more, I know he did a bit but she could have done with the Anthony and the twins being cut down sooner.

I'm not a fan of the twins, but...ooooh, membership to a strip club, that would be a deal breaker for me. I can't wait to see how that one pans out.

And Debbie, I quite liked the crazy lady but definitely not a good match, what were the 'experts' thinking? But seriously 53? Really??

With the weekly dinners and weekly commitment ceremonies, it's all too fake. How are they supposed to know what being married and living together is like when they programme gives them little chance to?

Yes it’s like they live in a commune too! Particularly for the twins, they need space to learn about their partners not spending all their time together and comparing themselves.

I wonder whether Nadia will pull Anthony up more and whether he will chillax a bit. She pulled him up about it not being a competition as well as how he spoke to Cheryl. I had to laugh at him telling Nadia to be kind/nice when she went after Cheryl when she was upset! What does he know about being nice! One rule for him..

I didn’t think Andrew stood up to the others in defence of Cheryl enough. He shouldn’t have left her alone with the vultures while he went to talk to the twins.

And even though I think Cheryl is a bit fake and silly it doesn’t mean I liked her husband. He looked like a nightmare right from the start with his strange ex at the wedding!

Yes, they're meant to be married to each other, not the group. Why do they need to meet each week?

Anyone else think abandrew has a bit of an unrequited love thing with the twins? He hangs on their every word and looked like he was a about to run when they were attacking Cheryl let alone standing up for her. I'm

Hi everyone. I havent posted on here yet, as I was catching up before RTFT.
Wow. Just wow.
Deb and John were an awful match. They were never going to work. She is a prize gaslighter, constantly saying what she doesn't like about him, then blaming him for it going wrong.

Re the twins. I think the Shrek princess comment was very odd, and probably bitchy. However Cheryl was hyper and unbearable the night before the weddings. She is clearly treated as a princess by her dad, and maybe the twin (not sure which one said it) was just telling her she ain't all that.

I cannot understand why everyone piled into Cheryl. I have a feeling she has said and done a lot more to rile people than we have seen. None of them welcomed her when she walked in with Jonesy, then they were trying to put him off her.
Their reasons made no sense. They all saw what a prick Jonathan was being to her, yet they were implying that she "left" him for Jonesy, which clearly isnt at all what happened.

However I do not understand how they are allowed to continue in this programme as a new couple?? They got together through chemistry and physical attraction, which is what the programme is trying to ignore when they get together. OK, allow them to go to the dinner party, but that should be them now out of it. OR they could have then set up Jonesy with another applicant. But allowing two people who were matched with other people to get together because they fancy each other is no different from any other dating show.

Originally I quite like the twins, but they are really quite shallow and were total bitches to Cheryl in yesterday's episode. All the 'well if you've said that I'm willing to get to know her', piss off - you should try and get to know her anyway!

And Anthony was so completely out of order, it was disgusting how aggressive he was, and how he kept circling back round again. I LOVED that Nadia put him in his place and he backed down and apologised though - I was getting a bit worried how submissive she was starting to appear so hopefully there is more balance.

I'm looking forward to Monday, as the clip of the commitment ceremony made it look like Susan and Sean raise how out of order everyone was

Yes I suspect Abandrew’s attraction to Cheryl is of the shallow variety, especially now he knows the age gap and may have written her off as a serious prospect.

He enjoyed walking in with her, but when she was not accepted by the group he looked more concerned to maintain his own “Jonesy” in-crowd status than to support her.

I do agree that love matched relationships are not the purpose of this experiment, so a bit naughty to allow Cheryl and Andrew to rejoin as a couple but.......I'd really like to see Scarlet and Jonathan brought back as a couple to see how they would have worked out. They were both 'characters' (putting it nicely) and it would have been interesting for the group dynamics too.

I was also confused as to why he didnt ask them why they are you all so against her? That would have been a natural and logical thing to ask them,given that they were all piling in on her.

I don’t know why Cheryl didn’t say: Jonathan was caught texting Scarlett, and effectively abandoned our relationship. This is why the experts allowed me to meet up with Abandrew and continue in the experiment, because we have both been betrayed by our allocated “spouses”. (So F off and MYOB).

Why are they all against Cheryl? I haven't seen anything that makes me think that she did anything for them to hate her. Is it just because she is younger than them?

Possibilities:

1. They think Cheryl scuppered her relationship with Jonathan, & judge her.

1. Cheryl is deemed too young to be serious & thought to be media-hungry.

1. Some (e.g. Anthony) think Abandrew & Cheryl will get too much media coverage & are jealous.

Yes I wonder whether it's been heavily edited because Cheryl was being roundly attacked and I couldn't work out why everyone was just letting it happen 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wonder why they didn't just date normally after their first meet up.

I'd be interested to see whether they now live together in the apartment too.

I think maybe Abandrew needed the money from staying in, having taken extended leave from work and then been left in the lurch on the wedding night!

I think they get paid by the day or something.
