New dram series starts tonight on bbc 1

With only hours left to deliver a draft of a book to her publishers , writer Arabella is tempted into a night out with a friend ........

the series is set in London and centers around the story of a young woman who must rebuild her life after her drink is spiked with a date rape drug

Am I the only one a little pissed odd with ending. I wanted a proper ending

I did too, but not so much in the sense of getting justice; I just always feel that multiple endings are a cop-out. It's an easy way of getting in lots of ideas, stories and drama, but if some or all of it never really happened then there's nothing really at stake.

I did like the reversed one though, although would have liked to see more gender-reversal stuff (I only remember seeing the guy lap-dancing).

And it was interesting psychologically in the sense that it was her playing out all the possible scenarios in order to try to deal with and move on from what happened.

Them all watching Terry's ad was one of my two favourite scenes. They were so sweet and supportive and genuinely excited for her. The other was not so much one scene but the portrayal of Ben, and his and Bella's relationship, throughout the last episode. Very believable and touching. I do think she used him quite a lot throughout, probably without realising as she was a bit self-centred; assuming he'd always be there for quiet support, relying on him to cover the rent more than once.

Overall I thought it was quite brilliant in earlier episodes but went downhill around the time when her social media 'career' takes off. IMO it became more and more hectic and undisciplined and self-indulgent. I think it could have done with a very firm objective editorial hand.
