I'm watching this too. I agree the upside down house was a bad idea. I couldn't be doing with lugging the weekly food shop upstairs to the kitchen!

I was also a bit skeptical about the massive gravel courtyard Robert put in the middle of the ground floor. Just a weird, unusable space.

I liked tonight (Thursday's) winning design for the refurbed conservatory. Massively over budget to achieve that in the end though.

Nith the bench seating is now legendary!

Especially with all that oversized greenery in it negating the benefits of the large windows. Though I think he did concede that they might go for a lawn.

Does anyone ever opt for the bench seating? It just looks so uncomfortable. Even if I chose Robert's overall design I think I would insist that the seating had to go.
