Have loved all the episodes I've watched. I've finally got an idea how I will get a toilet downstairs too. If only we had the money. What was the Durham one? Was that the homeowners with the marvelous hair?

How come Series 1, episodes 1 and 2 aren't in iPlayer?

Just a heads up if you go to Laura Jane Clark's Instagram there's a live video chat about last nights episode.

Interestingly she says she wanted to try make it under budget for the couple to do it for £10-15k as she said so often these shows end up going over so she thought it would be good to do it under.

Worth a watch.

How do you watch the live video chat? Going around in circles trying to work out what I'm supposed to be clicking on on her profile

@Momniscient click on her profile picture which should be highlighted in red / pink, and then click to watch "live video" which should pop up in a box at the bottom.

Can any of you fellow YHMP devotees remember the ep where Laura made the dividing door a book case that slid to the side?

@Momniscient it's definitely still there, but are you viewing from a computer or iPad without having an Instagram account yourself? That might be why. You can't view stories unless you have an account and it's got to be through the phone app I believe.

I'd love to know why there was such a delay in showing last nights episode

It was dropped because Johnson was giving a speech in its normal slot.
Then they couldn’t fit the episodes in before Springwatch so it was decided to show it after Springwatch had finished.

Please tell me where Robert was going to put the washer dryer on the show last night.

Was the utility not in the golden pod?

Thanks runningon. I think it was an earlier episode where it divided two rooms and they slid into a recessed wall rather than spin round like that one.

Last night, the couple were very similar looking but I caught a vibe from him that suggested he was used to getting his way.

I thought the utility upstairs was squeezed in really well, although maybe doors covering the area so you were always looking at your washing space... also thought there is no way I’d take all the washing down the stairs and put on a washing line... I’d so tumble dry everything (bills would go through the roof)... I am lazy!!

I think I've made it better in my imagination!

I wouldn’t want a washer upstairs, I’d hear it through the floorboards and the noise would wake the kids.

Just shook my head when Robert revealed his design. He just doesn't listen and doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks. I would like to see the two designers interacting. From the clips you see they don't seem to like each other.

I agree with you when you write ".....He just doesn't listen......."

Not the best attribute in an architect.

For me, this epitomised what's wrong with Robert's designs. Doesn't listen, just assumes he know best but when clients actually live with his design they realise it simple doesn't work.
