Me too.

Haggisfish · 22/04/2020 21:40

I’d love to make myself a tea dress. I’m the wrong shape for shop bought ones.

fourquenelles · 22/04/2020 21:40

Marc's fabric is a case in point. I'd frame that.

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 21:40

I meant 'me too, I love a tea dress'.

RomaineCalm · 22/04/2020 21:41

I'm always a bit baffled by the transformation challenge. I get that it needs to be different and creative but so many of those garments are barely wearable. The winning 'dress' was grim.

I'm up for the tea dresses though.

Halsall · 22/04/2020 21:41

I'm afraid I almost do have a fabric room, or at least enough fabric to fill a room Blush

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 22/04/2020 21:42

Can't watch now, but joining this thread as it's the busier of the two ready for when I watch!

Haggisfish · 22/04/2020 21:43

I love the blue dress Claire is wearing.

Wolfcub · 22/04/2020 21:43

I do not like the pattern for the cold shoulder dress

SoupDragon · 22/04/2020 21:44

Dancer Man is not making a tea dress, surely. It's not modest enough

Halsall · 22/04/2020 21:44

I like Clare generally.

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 21:44

I haven't learnt everyone's name yet. Is Claire the vintage lady? I think I like her style.

fourquenelles · 22/04/2020 21:45

Waves back to Halsall I come from a long line of wefters and warpers so it's probably in my genes Smile

dillite · 22/04/2020 21:45

I fear that this might be it for Angilia. She's not done well for 2 challenges.

SoupDragon · 22/04/2020 21:46

Claire is indeed the 1940s secretary. One fo the few names
I can remember,

MonsteraCheeseplant · 22/04/2020 21:46

There are some lovely fabrics here.

Wolfcub · 22/04/2020 21:46

Pretty sure I had a dress like that in the 90s

grafittiartist · 22/04/2020 21:46

Me too wolfcub!!

Jellykat · 22/04/2020 21:46

Claires face and demeanour is so fitting with her love of all things '40s, its spooky!

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 21:46

I like the plain red/blue floral dress.

RomaineCalm · 22/04/2020 21:47

I really don't like the pink dress that Alex is making. I suspect he might be going home.

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 21:47

Either Angillia or the ballroom dancer will go.

SoupDragon · 22/04/2020 21:47

I wish they didn't send anyone home in week one,

SchadenfreudePersonified · 22/04/2020 21:48

I haven't learnt everyone's name yet. Is Claire the vintage lady? I think I like her style.

So do I!

I'd just said to DH "She's like someone off an Agatha Christie mystery and she described herself as a "Young Miss Marple".

dillite · 22/04/2020 21:48

Pom-poms do not belong on clothes. Especially clothes for adults.
