Yes I thought the blue was a jump suit for a second.

RomaineCalm · 22/04/2020 21:56

Oh no, the pink thing is awful. And the unfinished sleeves aren't a feature.

FreezerBird · 22/04/2020 21:56

I definitely did! Worn with massive black boots.

dillite · 22/04/2020 21:56

I used to dream of being able to wear a dress like that 90's one.

Fiona's dress's fabric was so pretty. Love it.

The pink dress will go home.

JunoJigglewick · 22/04/2020 21:57

I like Angilla. I do not like the dancer man with the pink travesty.

Wolfcub · 22/04/2020 21:57

Wrong decision

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 21:57

I do like the winning dress. Good choice.

fourquenelles · 22/04/2020 21:58

Oh that's a shame. I think she would have settled in given another week or two

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 21:58

Dancer man will go next week.

JunoJigglewick · 22/04/2020 21:58

Oh no, I like Angillia! I jinxed her Confused

SoupDragon · 22/04/2020 21:59

I don't think it was the wrong decision - I think both Angillia and Dancer Man were absolutely going to be early leavers. I don't think Angillia was at all comfortable there.

dillite · 22/04/2020 21:59

Pink dress survived? I am amazed. Actually, both of the last 2 dresses were equally bad and should both have stayed.

Jellykat · 22/04/2020 21:59

Gawd, that hour always goes so quickly!

BookSkark · 22/04/2020 22:00

Oh, this just makes me want to learn to sew! Any suggestions for a book or online series of beginners projects if I decide to invest in a sewing machine?

TokyoSushi · 22/04/2020 22:01

Loved it! Just the sort of TV we need at the moment!

MonsteraCheeseplant · 22/04/2020 22:02

I'd love to be able to sew too Book. Sewing machines mostly scare me though, I don't understand how to fix them when it goes tits up.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 22/04/2020 22:03

Claire's shoes are fab!

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 22:04

@BookSkark I would recommend any of Tilly and the Buttons books, they include patterns and the instructions are very clear. There are lots of helpful videos on YouTube too.

CaptainMyCaptain · 22/04/2020 22:05

Or see if there are sewing lessons or a sewing club near you (in the future obviously).

MonsteraCheeseplant · 22/04/2020 22:06

I've always thought i'd suit a stitch and bitch group.

Haggisfish · 22/04/2020 22:09

I did a six week learn to sew course locally and it just gave me enough confidence to use a sewing machine, do a zip and buttonhole and read a pattern. Then anything else is on YouTube!

GoldenKelpie · 22/04/2020 22:09

Hi everyone, late to the party but watched and texted with friends. I really liked Peter's tea dress and was surprised that it was so criticized for what I thought was a really good repair of the error he made.It was barely noticeable.

Very much looking forward to next week though I think Alex is vulnerable to go.

BookSkark · 22/04/2020 22:11

Thanks @CaptainMyCaptain. I'm resigned to the fact I'll have to teach myself, but I managed to teach myself crochet so sewing must be possible as well!

But yes, @MonsteraCheeseplant nails it. Sewing machines are scary - and not cheap. But despite my Corona-enforced pay cut, I'm saving a reasonable amount of cash right now through not going out, so seems as good a time as any to take the plunge!

KatyMac · 22/04/2020 22:11

I love those wide sleeves on the sort of tropical tea-dress

I would suit that!

BookSkark · 22/04/2020 22:12

Oh, and pink dress was awful. But with so many people at this stage, I can't remember what he did in the other rounds - maybe they saved him.
