Hmm, well, my TV guide seems to have gotten the wrong end of the stick. It said that, after Grace did her impromptu surgery, she made decision to quit so she could concentrate on spending more time with her. Unless I missed something I don't think that happened? I mean, it would be a fairly pointless reason to quit work, given that Grace is meant to be 16 and presumably would rather spending time with her peers than with her mum, and will be off to university in a couple of years anyway.

Sorry, that should have been Connie made the decision to quit, not Grace!

I bet every parent in Holby is warning their teenage kids not to go out and about with Grace - last week the drugs/drink debacle and this week a YouTube surgical procedure ... she's a dangerous person to be around.

No not at all clear, I only knew because she's been posting on SM for weeks about leaving - don't normally expect spoilers to come from the actors themselves, was rather annoyed. Though I suppose it's hardly a spoiler for an exit storyline when there was no actual exit... Confused

If that was meant to be a character exit, it was way too subtle for me. How much notice would someone in Connie's position have give IRL, does anyone know..?

Everything I saw made it sound like she's left, but 'never say never' etc, rather than a break with a planned return like she's done before

I've just finished watching it and no indication as far as I felt. Only departure was her leaving the hospital during a shift.

I've seen a few articles now which seemed to confirm that was her last episode, so I guess it must be right. But it really was weird that there was absolutely nothing about her leaving in the script. On the bright side, if Connie has left then surely Grace has too...

Was more going off what Amanda has posted on her SM, she posted about leaving back in the beginning of March - when she last took a break it was clear it was temporary, this time sounds more final.

The show itself gave absolutely no clues Connie was leaving, I wonder if it was a short notice decision
