New series anybody watching?

Sue’s new teeth look good glamorous Nanny!

Sam’s Xmas meal was over the top but if I had the money I’d probably do the same for my kids I love Xmas.

Does anybody know why Sam was crying in the preview?

I’m with you Tana

I wasn’t sure what to think about BPaul initially but he seems like a fairly good egg. I’ve done the super controlling husband bit and it doesn’t smell like big paul.

I’ve also had a partner who sniped at me lots. You know, funny but not funny... (Oh I pick ‘em). It was very much like G and B - and it ground me down. I ended up sniping back and became almost as hateful as he was.

I’d much rather be in the FK house than the sheps. It seems a nicer place to be.

Marriage is not everything. Happiness is.

I like big Paul too I just think he doesn't love their life style in the lime light but loves sam and the children loads

Christmastree43 · 04/04/2020 20:23

Another vote for big Paul! He wouldn't be the kind of man I'd go for as he's very quiet I think but I don't think he's some controlling mastermind, I think he's just been dragged along by Sam since day 1 and doesn't really know what to do with himself.

As opposed to Greg who is the consummate professional but also apparently a big cheat. And comes from a very dodge background.

Speaking of @CaveyWavey don't leave us hanging Grin I'm guessing he was a purveyor of substances not usually found at B&Q?

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 04/04/2020 20:26

christmas

Now who is leaving us hanging? Grin

It’s been mentioned on this thread already, apparently it was on blindgossip that he cheats

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 04/04/2020 20:48

I think I saw that here but haven’t seen anything more... I didn’t know about the dodge background.

Extracurricularfatigue · 06/04/2020 09:43

His business is also dodgy. Just google him and ‘tickets’.

Christmastree43 · 06/04/2020 09:46

Also Google Terry and Margaret Canty Shepherd, his uncle and aunt whose business he works for/ has continued.

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 06/04/2020 11:34

Ah

Thank you 🎄43 and extra Grin

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 06/04/2020 14:45

Also Google Terry and Margaret Canty Shepherd oohh interesting, I did wonder why Billie chose a bridal shop in Blackheath for her dress, family connection.

MiniCooperLover · 06/04/2020 18:01

That is disappointing... not overly surprising but I'd always thought of him as a bit harmless, I'm guessing if he's now the boss or at least high up that's not likely.

MiniCooperLover · 06/04/2020 18:02

I actually thought Big Paul didn't do too badly with the kids. They are badly behaved kids and he didn't give in too easily.

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 06/04/2020 18:04

You don’t buy a house like that on ‘edits’ and playing tic-tac-toe with skittery hands.

ZigZaggyZoo · 06/04/2020 21:28

Well all of this info on Greg is making big Paul look decidedly like the better choice partner

CallMeOnMyCell · 06/04/2020 21:37

I’m probably being naive but I’m really shocked about Greg! I thought Billie and Sam were traumatised by their stepdad going to prison when they were younger so it seems so odd that they would be associated with criminal activity.

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 07/04/2020 00:19

I have a feeling that keeping up with all those Jones families, topping up with all those wrinkle busters, buying all that designer guff and stage school fees will trump trauma over any activities.

And comedy teef don’t come cheap either.

KittyMcTitty · 08/04/2020 22:51

Will there be another series do you think???

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 09/04/2020 00:27

Yup. Bound to be.

So they can show us mere mortals how to live lockdown well.

And to show where all the c*x handwash and sanitiser went.

Tic-tac-toe and all that jazz Grin

Starksforthewin · 09/04/2020 02:42

I think that was the cringiest episode yet.

The self aggrandising birthday party and the fake peril about the dress and the tux....
Nelly at stage school... another fake drama. She was probably traumatised at having to share the attention with 20 other kids...

Sam and Paul at the RENTED house saying “oh I’d want to change so much and put a new kitchen in...” You’re not fooling anyone Sam, you couldn’t buy that house in a month of Sundays!

Next week’s hate watch is Ferne McCann 😂

Poetryinaction · 09/04/2020 08:53

The extravagance and self importance really was sickening.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 09/04/2020 09:10

Yeh the whole 7figure house and yet they very carefully never used the word “buy” was so blatant. With Billie they always said buy and sell.

Was nice to see big Paul genuinely enjoying being involved with the family and the end sing along.

KittyMcTitty · 09/04/2020 09:19

I really enjoy the escapism - it’s so far from real life.

I did not enjoy the cares plug!

I assume the next series will be about the houses? Did Sam not buy her house - the pics shown in the daily fail aren’t that house it has a far nicer kitchen.

I enjoy (guilty pleasure) Ferne show too!

MrsSoChristmas · 09/04/2020 11:42

Sam did say they were putting an offer on the house 🏡

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 09/04/2020 12:45

You can put a rental offer in

LetTheCabbagesDie · 09/04/2020 13:19

The Fail article said it was rented (not that the Fail should be relied upon for accurate journalism!)
