New series anybody watching?

Sue’s new teeth look good glamorous Nanny!

Sam’s Xmas meal was over the top but if I had the money I’d probably do the same for my kids I love Xmas.

Does anybody know why Sam was crying in the preview?

Sue always had big teeth, now she is drawing attention to them. They look ridiculous.
I always loved Sam. She seemed to love being a mum so much.
Sadly, these days, she is going a bit drag queen to look at. She looks about 40.
And the balloons, the car etc etc. The kids are horribly spoilt and terribly behaved. Paul is off to school in September! He is 4, not 1! I have a 4 year old and I would never tolerate the way he behaves.

I think Sam is an good mum, very caring and calm (way calmer than me)- but their emphasis on stuff, is very sickening, very kardashian meets Essex lol

The most cringe bit for me was Paul saying 'Prosecco fat'when sue said Billie had a bit of puppy fat - he really got that wrong !

Well,he didn't but he shouldn't have said that to his sister in lawWinkShock

With an explosive child (I had one!) the best thing they can do is ignore the screaming which on the whole they do. Personally I'd have left Paul in the cupboard but I can see that being turned round in the papers plus they needed film footage so I can see why she did it. Personally I'd have left him to it and gone and done the washing up!

I thought Sam and Billie buying Sue ‘new’ teeth was a lovely thing to do, but they were so bright that it reminded me of that episode of Friends where Ross’s teeth were so white that they glowed in the darkness when they turned the lights off!

I do wonder if the discipline thing is hard to do in front of the cameras/viewers. I know I'm guilty of not knowing how to pitch it in front of others and I'm not going to get written about in the tabloids for it either!

I agree about Sue’s teeth, I think they are horrific and can be seen from space. The idea that having them done was a treat/present is beyond me.

It’s such a shame that the materialism dominates this programme. They are always buying ‘stuff’ and all of the children are terribly spoilt. I think Nelly is actually deeply unpleasant to be around, constant attention seeking and indulged far too much by joining in adult conversations. Billie is very weak in this regard.

I see all of the hoopla about Paul having his own bedroom came to nothing, and he is still in the parental bed, just as his father wanted.
Why would Paul rather sleep with his son than his wife?

As for the money, well since Mummy Diaries, Sam has gained many more endorsement deals. She is now into bedding, as well as the prams etc.
I think the All Bits Business is being wound down, there is virtually no stock on the website.

I know a member of staff at Nelly’s school. She is over tired because of her “influencer” commitments and school comes very much down the list of priorities. Parents do zero homework with her, no reading, and so she is also very much behind her peers. I find it very sad tbh.

MiniCooperLover · 28/02/2020 16:15

EssexGurl that is sad to hear, not that surprising I suppose, though I do think it's a bit out of order for that staff member to talk to other people about Nelly.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 28/02/2020 18:29

Although that's not surprising 'a member of staff' should be keeping her mouth well and truly shut!

Really out of order for a staff member to reporting that about Nelly.
Sam looks so old. Way older than 30. Nearer 40, so much make up and really ageing clothes.

If a member of staff in a school told me that about a child I'd report them. It's not Nelly's fault that she's has other commitments and is taken out of school. At the end of the day she's a 5yo and has no control over her life.

Sam didn't see that Rosie was reacting to little Paul bumping her. I'd have bitten him too.

Greg seems like such a lovely dad and uncle. He is lovely with Sam's DC.

I like the children but they need a lot less stuff and firmer boundaries.

Honestly the way the children behave is appalling! There isn't one scene were they don't hit, bite or slap each other!!

When my DC and their cousins get together ages from 4 months- 10 years they never hurt each other even if they do get mad and snatch stuff 🙈

My DD has behaviour problems but she would never hurt another child constantly like that, its really bad parenting they do it and no one is teaching them that it is seriously wrong!! Arthur nearly took a chunk out of Nelly but he was allowed to remain on the horse 🥴

I don’t think it’s constant fighting- it’s a 1hr show amongst hrs of filming,

I think the concern is that the FIRST reaction to being denied something, or told ‘NO’ (rare!) is to strike out.
Paul not only bumped Rosie he hit out at Sam when she stopped him.

I think Rosie is very advanced for two.

I don't think the kids are particularly badly behaved, my 3 year old is just as bad to be honest! I'd be mortified if they saw some of her tantrums.

I agree with pp they are probably just knackered being carted here there and everywhere and being asked to "perform", they could do with a few days at home!

Report
Myimaginarycathasfleas · 05/03/2020 14:33

I'm not impressed with the children's behaviour and I would have been very pissed off as the owner of that car to see them clambering all over it with no correction from their parents. The breakage was inevitable.

However I do think that both sets of parents are very loving and attentive and engage actively with their kids, and in that sense are a good role model for their fans.

It's great that Sue is finally happy with her teeth and they give her confidence. I wish she would do something with her hair, though. She needs a more age appropriate style. She looks great but not especially young looking and a very young hairstyle just emphasises that.

MiniCooperLover · 05/03/2020 14:34

So Greg was the one actively disciplining Arthur and Billie tells him off almost ?!

Age appropriate hair style? She's only 48 iirc

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 05/03/2020 23:07

She's just got very non descript straight hair, hasn't she? What is age appropriate hair?

Report
Myimaginarycathasfleas · 06/03/2020 01:18

Age appropriate hair style? She's only 48 iirc

But she has the hairstyle of a teen/twenty year old. It drags her face down because it's too flat and too long. She would look a lot younger with a shorter bouncier style.

I think Sue is 50/51? Weren’t the teeth a 50th birthday present?

I think her hair style doesn’t suit because she has such thin hair and it is flattened and over straightened. They all use hair pieces and extensions for their photo shoots and ‘events’.

Wonder if Sam will actually buy a house or just rent again.

Im looking forward to the home school debate....it does seem that Sam is very much influenced by "big" Paul's opinions.Look how quickly she snapped back at Luisa that Surrey was her idea not Pauls.

Can we assume both clothing brands are dead i.e. all bits and minnies?
( can they burn the "this is my day off sweatshirts"....done to death)
