Sounds like the recent toy boy drama and mum meets new man ....... minus being a toy boy 😂😂

I don't watch much TV but I saw Imelda being interviewed about this and decided to tune in. Few things would get me watch on consecutive nights but I'm really enjoying it. The characters are believable in all their strengths and flaws, and not always likeable or lazily easy to identify with, the setting is incredible and the storyline is intriguing. They are all playing their parts very well, but Imelda's in particular is so well crafted. Looking forward to tonight, DCs willing!

I want Mark to be vindicated but I'm a bit worried about that bottle of medication he had when he was packing.

I'm really enjoying it. It's a strange show. The narrative is quite creepy and dark with a load of dreadful characters. But the direction is quite sunny and light a lot of the time and the music is positively cheerful, as if it they were going for dark humour rather than just dark. It's a strange bit of dissonance that would usually put me off but for some reason, it isn't!

I heard the writer being interviewed on Radio 4 & she said it was filmed last summer & they were incredibly lucky with the weather - & the bright sunny setting is designed to provide a deliberate contrast with the dark moody plot.

I think the other daughter will be interviewed tonight.

I think the only reason she stole the Viagra was to spoil Mark's fun.

Did Mark put anything in the gin and tonic he gave Viv? There was a tablet bottle on the side but you didn't see him put anything in the drink.

Wasn't the bottle an injection vial, rather than a screwtop glass bottle? I'd have to rewatch to check though.

No we weren’t shown him putting anything into the drink, we were just shown the tablet and kind of made to think that.. My husband commented on that at the time.

Apologies but what happened the last 20 mins last night please? I fell asleep and haven’t got Itv hub on my tv. Have we found out yet who is in the body bag? Or who set fire to the car?

No we still don't know much. Stella found out Mark's wife died of an overdose. Viv was looking a bit doubtful and Mark may or may not have put something in her drink.

Could it be Mary in the body bag?

Not sure the daughter in Spain ever existed at all.

I doubt any of these lot will live happily ever after somehow! It will end in tears!

@CaptainMyCaptain that was exactly my thought when he took the phone call from his ‘daughter’ saying she couldn’t make it, I thought I bet she doesn’t exist. Like I said, I’m desperate for a twist and hope it’s not viv or mark in that bag!!
