When recently widowed Vivienne announces her love for new man Mark, it throws the family of adult children into chaos

With their large family home and inheritance at risk , the siblings try to find out more about their mums new love

Sounds like the recent toy boy drama and mum meets new man ....... minus being a toy boy 😂😂

I took from it that she had her suspicions about Mary and what she did

At the end Viv knew what Mary and her children had done and was trapped in the house she had wanted to escape. I agree it was a beautiful house and location, I'd love to live there.

I am averting my eyes from you all, pps, and despite the temptation I'm strictly not reading you, because I have still not seen the final episode!

Just finished the last episode, what a load of old toot. Imelda Staunton (& half naked Tovey) was the only thing that kept me watching.

In reality there would be people outside your house all the time gawping in. There was never anyone on the beach when they were on the balcony!

Def people fishing like my df does. He loves that house and fishes near it

Why did Imelda Staunton's baby die?

It was meant to be about a controlling relationship, but what did he do that was controlling? Beeped his horn impatiently at FA to get her to hurry up, not keen on her seeing her family (but then they were all vile, so I can understand that).

And what about the ending? I don't know whether or not I like cliffhangers like that.

I know. I’d rather have had one more episode than a possibly of another series next year.

I think diazepam, as he was using that himself - a tranquilliser

I think the point was that he wasn't as controlling as his kids and we were made to think. Other than manipulating her to go to Gibraltar so they could get married. Other stuff like driving too fast was just meant to give the viewers a sense that he had bad intentions, but it just turned out he was a bit flawed - e.g. he kept from her the fact that he smoked, and was on anti-depressants.
