Phil is either buying up clubs, car lots, garages and walking around with thousands in brown bags/locked in safes or he is on the brink of financial ruin. Those two financial states change without rhyme or reason in the blink of eye.

What is Sharon living on exactly? She is too poor to rent her own place and doesn't have a job or assets. So guess Ian is subbing her and keeping junior in nappies and formula!

Sharon sold her half of the club to Mel I think so maybe that has stretched or she is banking on a divorce settlement! She used to raid Phil's safe now and again as well and must have some cash from her mum and dad or previous divorces or something put away? She can't live on fresh air or stay with Ian all the time. (Esp if she discovers what he did to Dennis!)
She must have some money somewhere! Maybe Phil will pay for the funeral?

Mel forced Sharon to sell to Ruby. For less that it was worth but I can't remember how much.

Didn't Sharon sell it cheaper for a quick sale on Mel's orders, the to fund Mel's villa or top her up with extra cash I doubt there I'd much left.
I liked how Mel's who had No plans to die managed to name Lisa in her will for the lot weeks after she got it.
