Jay didn’t state what he had been doing to prevent her getting pregnant. Presumably nothing. This is my point - they must have had the discussion that she was on the pill and they were exclusive etc, therefore no further protection being used. Jay seems to be getting blamed for this entire thing by some posters. Yes, accidents happen, but if they havent been together long and didnt want this to happen, then taking the pill properly "I think" doesn't exactly seem to be a foolproof plan...

Re Gray being suspended, he was on a shaky nail already because he was shit not winning many cases, and also because he hired/recommended Leo. So the company is now associated with a Bad Man, and they blame him

No, not for the whole thing. They’re both responsible for the pregnancy. I’m blaming Jay for his poor behaviour which was trying to manipulate Lola into keeping a pregnancy she had clearly stated she didn’t want to keep by roping in her daughter and proposing marriage and then getting angry when he didn’t get the answer he wanted. As if he was entitled to marry her just because he asked.

Yeah, totally agree re getting Lexi involved - emotional manipulation isn't great. Altho Lola had said that they would have a baby when they were in a secure relationship, so I guess he (stupidly) thought he was achieving that.

I disagree. If my partner didn't want to use a condom, but I wanted him to, then he would wear one or I wouldn't have sex with him.
Couples agree/disagree on methods of contraception, but it's ludicrous to say it is up to him whether a condom is used during sex with her

I’m very clearly stating the opposite!! both are responsible. You’re saying Lola was responsible for making jay wear a condom. I’m saying jay was. If you want to push it so Lola is responsible for making sure he wore one then jay is also responsible for watching Lola take her pill every day. Which he clearly didn’t do.

The chances are neither of them realised how strongly they would feel either way until they were in the situation.

@lazymum99 - you're quite right about Denise not being a hairdresser. Her role at that salon has always been managing it, but last night she was all kitted out as a hairdresser. (Perhaps that English GCSE is more versatile than we thought).

I thought Kim did a beauty course on line , so Denise hasn't got a nail technician either!
I didn't think Denise could cut hair either.
