Do you mean Lexi? When Lola was a teenager and had no concept of the enormity of having a child? As opposed to now when she’s an adult and is raising that child alone and completely understands exactly what she would be taking on?

Just had a google. Lola was in care and 15 when she got pregnant with Lexi. Not the same as making a decision when you’re an adult and know the realities of parenting.

Lola doesn't want more children : that's fine , but let's hope that once she is on longer pregnant she makes sure it doesn't happen again! She said she was taking her pills etc but she clearly needs more protection. (Esp as men on the square have lots of history! )

Jay has also said he wasn't ready for a baby and that it hadn't even crossed his mind until she said she was pregnant.

Let's hope that he was being responsible and using extra protection to be sure and that he stops it from happening again.

Lola grew up in care with shitty parental influence - like many in that situation she probably just wanted a family like everyone else plus she was in love with Ben, her best friend and thought that would work. The logic isn't there at that point to tell you how all consuming children are. She knows that now and is generally a pretty positive portrayal of a care leaving, teen parent.

I didn't think he was too bad on EE to be fair : maybe not as good as some but not that bad. I don't remember him having huge stories after Lucy died (but my memory isn't what it once was. ) he may have done. I recall he was with Lauren at some point?

Regarding Gray - what does suspension even mean. They haven’t sacked him yet. Usually if you're suspended it’s on full pay while they investigate etc

Yeah, I get that - but you'd have an inkling whether you'd be "OK" with accidentally falling pregnant, surely. She is so absolutely certain - she can't possibly have been in two minds beforehand. I was more replying to those who are saying how she is 100% not wanting this baby, and Jay trying to push her into having it. If she was so sure, then I can see why Jay was/is pissed off that he has no say in it.
Of course he doesn't - I'm not suggesting she should have a baby for him - just that it must be a truly devastating position to be in, knowing there's the potential for a baby, but someone else chooses that it isn't going to happen.

Well she did say she was sure been taking her pill properly. Beyond that I’m not sure what else she could do. Other than just refuse any sex. Jay didn’t state what he had been doing to prevent her getting pregnant. Presumably nothing.

The pill isn't 100 percent effective of course. I was just thinking she should do more if she starts an affair with people on the square! They have all been round the block so to speak 😂

She did qualify her statement with "I think" so she's not completely certain she's been taking it properly.

She obviously hasn’t been but if she was thinking all along she was taking it properly there’s not much else she could do.
